Perfect, cozy getaway with hot tub

Clean, neat, easy to access, quiet neighborhood, hot tub was great, car parking right outside house. Overall great experience. Thank you for last minute accommodations.

Great spot

Great location on Bankers Hill. Easy walk to Little Italy. The place was small but nice and very clean. Could just use some softer pillows.

Literally the best place I've ever stayed

This place is incredible and Ricardo is so on it. Every detail of this spot is thought out and SO on point. It's super clean, has all the amenities you would want and they are really quality, the outdoor area is beautiful and private, and the hot tub is awesome... can't say enough things about it. Look no further just book it!

Great downtown getaway

The property was a welcome sanctuary from the city. It was like having our own private oasis. The check in process was seemless the property was how described if not better. The bed was like sleeping in a cloud. All of this made for a very relaxing stay.

Little Italy Stay

We had a fantastic time at this condo! It was a little bit smaller inside of the condo than the photos would have implied (the patio had plenty of room), but there was more than enough room in the end and we loved staying here. Ricardo was very informative and responsive when needed, which was appreciated.

The Zen location was great

We loved the location and the ability to get to other locations quickly. Unfortunately, it rained and cut down the locations we wanted to go to, but we enjoyed even the solitude we got and the rest and recuperation we also received. Thank you.

Little slice of heaven in downtown SD

We absolutely loved our stay in the little Zen Den :) everything was conveniently located just a $10 Uber right away or a walk if we were feeling up to it. We didn’t mind the airplane noise by the time bedtime rolled around, we were exhausted anyway!! There was one time we needed to reach out to the property manager, and he was prompt with his response and dealt with everything immediately we couldn’t of been happier ! we would absolutely stay here again!!

Fun getaway!

Enjoyed staying at this cute studio for the week for birthday celebration! Check in process very easy and thorough instructions about the property in email. Enjoyed the hot tub, bed comfy, full kitchen, and very clean. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there. But would definitely come back! Thanks again!

As soon as we arrived we knew this is going to be a wonderful vacation. I visit San Diego nearly every year and typically stay with family, but this year I wanted my own place and this VRBO stuck out to me when I was searching online. I was really excited about the outdoor space especially the hot tub. We used it every single day. We had a morning coffee outside and our evening wine and conversation by the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and had all the tools we needed to make breakfast every day. The king size bed was very comfortable. The only downside was that there is not a lot of space for hanging clothes. So I bought an over the door rack for hanging clothes and put it on the bathroom door. The check-in process is very easy as was the checkout process. The house that this unit is located in is an incredible historic home with beautiful views. I could have sat on the front steps for hours just soaking in the view and the neighborhood. The location in Little Italy was fabulous and I never had an issue parking my rental car. Most of our days were spent out and about visiting different places in San Diego and La Jolla but this unit was a great escape at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing jewel in the perfect location

My wife and I stayed for a week and we absolutely loved it. Extremely clean upon arrival. The patio with the Hot tub and outdoor TV were perfect to grill and relax with a glass of wine after exploring SD, the kitchen was stocked with everything you need, great internet, super comfy bed and bedding, high end appliances and washer dryer. AC, plenty of parking every time. Amazing communication with management, clear access information. Perfect location 5 minutes to Little Italy, Balboa Park, the Convention Center, Bay Front Park, gas lamp. Amazing restaurants and spots walking distance. Will definitely recommend 5 star property and will for sure stay here again.

VERY CLEAN & Hot Tub was great!

Overall our stay was great. The bed was VERY comfortable, the hot tub was FANTASTIC, VERY CLEAN, refrigerator, dishes/cooking essentials, grill (we did not use), & plenty of bath towels provided. This is a HOUSE that has been constructed into 4 separate units. The washer & dryer is in a closet OUTSIDE your main entrance shared with other tenants. My husband said he was outside working when all the lights turned off at 10 PM which is noted on the listing. There is NO dresser or items to unpack your luggage, but we left our suitcases open on the couch. Overall, the space IS similar to a studio apartment, but the back patio is incredibly large. You will hear planes going over, BUT in San Diego, we found this to be true in A LOT of areas even when dining out. It never woke us. Parking was never an issue for us & it is street parking at $0. We felt safe in the location & it is only about a 10 minute walk to little Italy, but your return walk will be coming up a steep hill (think San Francisco hill). Would we stay again? No - only because we would prefer a washer & dryer in the unit & we would like more space to unpack. If these things don’t matter to you, this is quite the gem! Host was great - Thank you for your hospitality. PS - A note on San Diego - Do NOT stay in Gas Lamp area! This location felt much safer & it was a clean neighborhood.

Great location. Absolutely loved the distance to little Italy restaurants

Great place, very quaint. It’s very. Code to the airport so if you don’t like the sound of planes, might not be the place for you. I love listening to the planes so it will definitely be a repeat booking for me! Loved the board games that came with the place for a relaxing night on the patio.

Good location but noisy

Great location. Small unit with no place for suitcases except for the floor. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked nice. I hated hearing the planes which were every few minutes. Beware there are two steps up to the bathroom which can be tricky at night

Perfect Getaway

I had a great stay and would stay again. The unit was very clean, well-equipped with modern features, and very comfortable. The yard with hot tub is an amazing bonus! It's also located in a great area, Bankers Hill, which is very close to restaurants, coffee shops, and popular San Diego destinations, like Balboa Park, Hillcrest, Little Italy, downtown San Diego, and the airport. It's location behind a beautiful, historic San Diego home is also a great feature. Rick, the property manager, is also very friendly, accessible, and responsive.

Amazing location!

The studio was excellent and had everything we needed. The best part was the location - it was walking distance to the water, great restaurants, Balboa Park, and much more. It was also a treat to jump into the jacuzzi after a long day of walking! Thank you, Rick!
