My son graduated from Naval Bootcamp and had liberty with us until Sunday. This was the perfect place for our stay- clean, safe, peaceful, and with excellent communication throughout. All my sailor wanted was to relax and reset, and he was able to do just that here. We’re very thankful for this location and will definitely book again in the future

I wish I would have taken pictures of this home, but it is very warming and welcoming! Was perfect for our family. They had everything for an infant and many other things. There were several things like laundry detergent that I told my husband we needed to grab some, well turns out they had it already. The host is very responsive! Home was very clean and beds are very comfortable. Garage fits two cars and loved being able to have the protection in case a storm rolled through. Very close to the Naval base if you are attending graduation like we were. So glad we booked this home! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely book again.

Everything was seamless and the communication was exceptional. My son was graduating from the Navy so I was already stressed out. Our communication with the property owner was amazing. The house fit all ages needs and was clean.

This was an impeccable home, warm and welcoming.We have a large family and this residence suited all of our needs. Beautiful lake within walking distance. Fun activities for my young adults. Clean and comfortable rooms. Definitely a home away from home. We were in town for our daughter's boot camp graduation at the Great Lakes. A 15 minute drive away. I highly, highly recommend IVP Manor House. The communication and kindness is top tier!!

Nice house- great location- some street noise at night but fans drown out. Lot of up and down stairs due to layout but still good. Good parking and outdoor space. Ready check-in and check out. Some charges are petty (use of high chair/games/grill) but depends on what you need.

We had a great stay. The house had lots of space to accommodate our two families with 4 kids and grandparents. Note: there is one full bath upstairs with 3 bedrooms, and then a half bath on a lower level, with a separate shower in the basement. The communication with our host was excellent and the location was fun right by the lake and playground.

Just as promised! Great 4 level home, open kitchen, excellent for family. 2 GREAT outside seating areas, 1 BBQ, 1 firepit. Ping pong & fooseball tables. And a host who made sure our stay was as expected. Excellent communication entire process. We already plan to return bext year!!

Grayslake lake home

This is a great place to unwind after a busy day. We were in town for a Naval graduation ceremony and this place was our home away from home. The host was very hospitable and accommodating we couldn’t have been more happy with the entire process. Not to mention the lake is steps away, hopefully on a longer trip we can visit and really explore all that grayslake has to offer but there is definitely plenty of attractions within a short distance.

Lovely Home!

This is such a great place and was a wonderful home away from home while we were at our dance nationals for the week! Communication was wonderful if we needed anything. If we ever come back to the area again we will 100% stay at the same house!

Navy Graduation trip

We stayed 3 nights for our 18 year olds Navy Graduation as it was close to base.The house was great for us and our teens. It had a retro kind of vibe. We enjoyed the ping pong table and board games for family time. Check in was simple and the hosts responded veey quickly with questions.

Family accommodation

Floorplan is a little quirky but the bedding arrangements worked out great for our group. The front yard patio was nicely shaded and a great spot to hang out, even if a little loud from the adjacent main road. Appreciated the labels on light switches and drawers. Small kitchen and unusual bath arrangements.

Perfect Place

This was the perfect place for us as we were in the area for a navy graduation ceremony. The house has more than enough room for everyone to have their own private areas. It was accommodated with many extra things in the kitchen. The lake is a short walk from the house and it is beautifulThe owner quickly responded to all of my messagesIf I were to be back in the area, I would definitely stay at this property again.

Would stay again

We needed a good centralized location for Thanksgiving with our relatives. This house was the perfect location, was very spacious, very clean, and comfortable beds and pillows. Would definitely stay again, thank you for your hospitality!

Lots of fun at the local beach!

This is a great space for multiple families. Everyone had their own space to retreat to and relax after lots of fun at the beach. Which is literally a 3 minute walk! The kids stayed busy with that and never complained of being bored. Had some of the best pizza from local restaurant. Me and my family would definitely stay there again!!

Navy RTC PIR weekend

My family & I loved staying in this home. It was about 20 min to Great Lakes. The spaces were just right for us. It had so many great places to hang out inside, outside & down the street to the lake. Cozy, clean, well organized & decorated. Our 2 sons loved their bedroom with the ping pong table. It was a great place for our son to unwind after graduating from the Navy boot camp. We would stay here again.

Comfortable and convenient

Spent a quiet Thanksgiving here with family needed to be near Lake Forest. House is spacious and beds comfortable but had to do some spot cleaning myself as it wasn’t detailed in every room. Owner was good with communication and responded well to all requests. Would be nice if there were TVs in bedrooms but Overall had a good stay.

Great stay!

Had the pleasure of experiencing a wonderful stay at this property recently. I reached out to the host about the hvac and cleaning given a recent review, and they confirmed that had been addressed. The home indeed was wonderful, sparkling clean, and seemed recently renovated with thoughtful additions like fooseball and ping pong! We enjoyed the spacious home and many private rooms. Already planning a return trip in the summer to make the most of the beach next door. Highly recommend this gem!

Smelly and dirty

The house seemed to be like the pictures, however upon arrival it had a deep musty smell and the rugs an furniture were dirty and stained. We had to rr wash several dishes and utensils to use safely. The heater vents are filthy and upon deeper look the HVAC system hadn’t been inspected nor professionally cleaned for a few years. We had to wash the bedding as over concerns of not being cleaned properly as well. The host answered when we inquired immediately, but seemed not very concerned about our issues and was reluctant to offer any type of discount for all the cleaning we had to do to complete our stay.

This is a spacious single family home (not an apartment ) it has a large yard, a front deck with seating and a covered porch with a hammock. Oversized detached garage plus driveway accommodates up to 4 cars.
The neighborhood is right next to a lake with a boat launch and sandy beach area so guests are welcome to walk around and use both. Home to 3 beaches and lakes.
Area restaurants will satisfy your taste buds thoroughly!
Close to Gurnee Mills shopping,Brae Loch Golf Course and Six Flags theme park. 8 miles to Naval base , 0.2 miles to College of Lake County , 13 miles to Long Grove , 15 miles to Killdeer, 32 miles to Northwestern University in Evanston
This multi level home allows for maximum privacy yet great for family gatherings and entertaining.
Please note there is a $25 charge per stay for use of the BBQ grill with propane tank and $25 for use of the gas fire pit with Propane. Please let us know before check in, so we can refill the tank and have it ready upon arrival.
