Fantastic location & property

Wonderfully looked after by the fabulous Lorena. We had a fabulous stay and loved the property especially the pool, and the views on an evening from our hill top location across to Alicante were a real treat!

A beutiful villa in a calm sorrounding!

We had an amazing stay at this place, very well taken care of by Lorena, who answered every question within minutes. Family members in our group are between 1-84 years and the house suited everyone just fine. The pool was a big hit for everyone, as well as the cosy covered outdoor area. If anything, the pictures do not do this place justice, it is even better!

Lovely Villa, But a Badly Maintained Pool!

Overall, the stay at the villa was lovely. Its in a great location if you want to get away from it all, with fantastic views right up to the coast. Both the inside & outside kitchens are very well stocked with everything you need and the bedrooms are all good sizes with comfortable beds. The only problem we had all week was with the pool. We arrived on Saturday and by the Tuesday it was very green. Pieter (the maintenance man) was very helpful and did everything he could but it took three days for it to start to clear (and even after that you couldn’t see the bottom) Pieter explained that this was caused by the acidic rain and tree pollen, however the pool cover that was supplied to keep these out was broken and we were told not to use it. We were also told that the filter system was only half working due to a broken pipe that hadn’t been fixed! (The pool next door was also completely clear) Overall this caused us to be unable to use the pool for three days due to additional chemicals being added and when we mentioned it to the owners we were told “Bad luck… it can happen” Although this didn’t ruin the holiday, we had booked the villa because it had a pool, so it was very disappointing to be unable to use it for nearly half the holiday. The couple who manage the villa locally (Jeanette and Peiter) couldn’t have been more helpful. They were fantastic all week, coming every day to try and sort the pool and very helpful with local advice. They even collected 2 of us from the airport! Also as a result of having to move the dates of the holiday because of COVID, we reached an agreement with the owner to pay some additional money directly to be allowed to reschedule the holiday, with a 193 euro being returned to us once the holiday was complete. We have now been home for 2.5 weeks and the money has still not been returned. I feel like I am no being ignored by the owner when I have messaged him about it, which is very disappointing! The villa is a lovely place to spend a week and would definitely be getting 5 stars if we hadn’t had such a big issue with the pool, and the deposit.

Es war perfekt! Die Lage ist ruhig aber nur 20 Minuten von Alicante entfernt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus war sehr sauber und es gab alles was man braucht für einen wundervollen Urlaub !

Heerlijke vakantie in prachtig huis

Wij hebben genoten van onze vakantie in mei. Ideale plek voor een rustige vakantie in een huis dat van alle gemakken is voorzien. Maxime, Christophe en Lorena zijn super vriendelijk en kunnen overal bij helpen. Het huis heeft een grote tuin een prachtig zwembad, met ingebouwd pierenbad perfect voor kleine kindjes. De kamers zijn netjes en de bedden goed. Ook de keuken is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. De omgeving is rustig, maar op 20 minuten rijden vind je alles wat je nodig hebt. Wij komen graag een keer terug!

Caso montada con mucho gusto, pero Cara y alejada

Esta claro que la fotografía es un mundo irreal y que por si sola vende. La casa estaba montada con mucho gusto, pero como todo, requiere un mantenimiento que es mucho mas que pasar la aspiradora y lavar las sabanas y mas con un precio que no es barato exactamente... Contratamos la casa para 6 adultos ( fuimos 4) y un yorkshire que pedí permiso de antemano para llevarlo. Llegamos tarde lo que provoco que en 3 min nos explicase como funcionaba la mitad de las cosas. Me llamo la atención que había incluido un numero de Wat fijo independientemente de el numero de usuarios. La casa estaba montada con muchísimo gusto, pero con la sensación de que nadie se encargaba de llevar un mantenimiento adecuado de las instalaciones. Es una zona con viento y polvo y tienen que dedicar mas tiempo a que no ese polvo no se vea en la casa. Malo, Tuvimos que lavar las ¨ colchas¨con las que cubrían los muebles de la terraza por que estaban todas sucias. El menaje de la cocina no estaba limpio ( entiendo es su responsabilidad revisar su estado después de cada alquiler) Las sabanas de las camas tenían ¨bolas¨. por favor.... El agua de jacuzzi tenia mal olor. Requiere cambiarlo con mas frecuencia. Me parece increíble tener que pagar un suplemento por gasto de luz cuando apenas estuvimos en casa. O es que estando en la casa no se puede encender ni las luces ambiente?. Cambiar bombillas a LED. Si bien se avisa de las distancias a las zonas ¨pobladas¨, esta lejos de todo, menos de las fiestas que hacen en otras casas. El horno no funciona, en el anuncio pone que hay plancha y no es cierto. La emisión de la tv solo va por internet. Yo vivo en una casa y se lo que me cuesta mantener todo bien pero para alquilar ( y mas a ese precio) tienen que estar mas encima de los detalles. En definitiva, la casa es muy bonita, pero....

Bijzonder huis op prachtige plek

Voor wie een bijzonder onderkomen in een geweldig landschap zoekt! Magnifiek uitzicht, en vanuit het huis loop je zó de canyons in, prachtig, verlaten, kleurrijk. En in 20 minuutjes met de auto bij het strand. Het huis heeft plek genoeg, zelfs als je met 8 bent. Buiten tafeltennis, tafelvoetbal, (goeie) darts, binnen mooi biljart. Voor wat killere najaarsavonden is er een fijne, sfeervolle gaskachel. Uitstekend vermaak voor verblijf met wat oudere kinderen!

Remote and quiet billa

Very peaceful and relaxing villa, you must have a car as you are not in walking distance of anything and taxis will not go there. However there are some beautiful scenic walks in the canyons very close by and no need for a car,

Excellent séjour!

Maxine et Christophe sont d'excellents hôtes et tout a été parfait pendant notre séjour. Ils ont été très disponibles lorsque nécessaire, l'accueil est très bien organisé, la villa est parfaitement prévue pour passer un moment inoubliable dans un environnement où les ballades sont nombreuses. Nous reviendrons!

Die Hacienda war klasse. Die Einrichtung ist genial, das Ambiente wunderbar. Der Service vor Ort mit Jos sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir können das Haus 100 % weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank.

Beautiful Villa in a Beautiful Location

A beautiful modern villa in a remote area. However a taxi into Alicante is only 25€ in case you want to go explore. The host was really friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had a really great stay and would definately recommend the villa to anyone. Thank you Maxine and Jos
