Great family get away

It was a nice family weekend getaway. Loved the gated deck. Was perfect since our dog traveled with us. We didn’t have to worried about her slipping out the door and being lost in an unfamiliar place.

MLK weekend Ski awesome

We were so blessed have great trip. The parking isn’t great. we left our vehicles at the Beech Mnt ski resort bc you need 4 wheel drive if it snows it did snow a lot. Location was awesome bc we could walk to skiing. If you stay here snap photo lock box number bc your internet won’t work wo wifi.

A perfect place! It has everything you need in a cabin! Cozy, cute and across the street from Beech mountain ski slopes! The owner was soo nice! Highly recommend!! We’ll be back!!!

Great Location

If you are looking for a great location, value and responsive owner this is the place for you. We could have not asked for a more convenient location as Beech Mountain Resort was very busy. The home itself is dated but we came to explore the outdoors and have easy access to the slopes. The owner was super responsive to any questions and needs.

Short and Sweet Stay

This property was perfect for our families annual get away to find our Christmas Tree! We have three (3) sons who really enjoyed the outside and the wildlife (friendly) we saw. It’s perfectly located near plenty of places to eat locally on Beech Mountain or in the valley in Banner Elk. You can find all the necessities and a great wine selection at Fred’s General Mercantile. Randy was a great communicator throughout the rental process and after our stay.

Great location!

This place is small and cozy. Across the street from Beech Mountain Ski Resort. Perfect for when there is no parking. Says it sleeps 6, with a loft area for sleeping, however it is in one of the 2 bedrooms and very high up. They do provide an air mattress, which came in handy. If you plan on cooking much, there is very limited cooking utensils i.e. cookie sheets, casserole dishes, spatulas etc. I do understand that being a vrbo property, that people 'steal' or break things 😕 Also, is you plan on getting groceries to cook, stop in neighboring larger towns for them as there is only ONE grocery/ski rental/deli store with limited supplies. Eating out is hit or miss. Everything closes very early and limited menus consisting of mostly pizza... Overall, great little place, location was perfect and had Everything we needed except for the small things mentioned.

White Christmas!

This was simply perfect and cozy. We had an amazing stay. The place was beautiful and clean and overall small enough for that cozy feeling but big enough for 3 adults and 3 kids. We saw snow and the trees were all covered and the place was quiet but close to everything we needed. Definitely would rent this place again.

Perfect little cabin for our family. The location it's so close to everything ! Room for the kids to go outside and play and home includes everything you need to make it feel like you are in your own home ! So many fun games for the family to play !

Snowboarding trip

The cabin is small and cozy. Perfect place for a small friend group. The host was super responsive, even before I initially booked. Everything was great, it was just what we needed! Definitely will book again.

Just what we needed

This place was perfect for our first family ski trip. It's a great location just across from Beech Mountain Ski Resort and just up the mountain from Banner Elk. The house is cozy, but had plenty of room for four adults. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen included all we needed for meals. The dishwasher is a bit noisy so we ended up washing dishes by hand. Other than that everything we good. It snowed while we were there and we made a nice fire in the fireplace. We loved watching the birds and deer. We also enjoyed Fred's General Store, Banner Elk Cafe, a pizza place, and a BBQ joint. It was a nice little winter wonderland ahead of Christmas. Thank you for a great home base for our trip!

Beech Mtn Show

This was the perfect spot to see the summer concert series. Easily within walking distance. Communication with the owners was excellent. There is one full bathroom and a half bath. The porch was perfect to watch the deer and relax on. We really enjoyed our stay here and would return.

Great place, great communication, listing is inaccurate

Great property but the listing stated loft had 2 beds which was not the case. We had a blow up mattress and the loft was tiny.

Nice house!

This is a perfect location and a great place to stay! The house is clean and the deck is a perfect place to sit out and enjoy the summer. We usually stay for the summer concert series and always have a really great time.

Amenities to the Beech Mountain Club (pool. golf, pickle ball, fitness club) are all available at discounted rates as this owner is a member of the club. There is a $200.00 transfer fee that is paid to the Club to transfer the owner's membership to the guest.
