Centrally located, the property offers easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, alpine coaster, wineries, gem mines, mountain biking trails, skiing, rafting, fishing, ice skating, tubing, and nearby playgrounds. Nestled at the base of Beech Mountain, the house is only 15 minutes from both Beech and Sugar Mountain slopes.

Guests will enjoy a tranquil setting with plenty of space to relax, along with regular visits from white-tailed deer, turkeys, and rabbits. The home is easy to access year-round, with a convenient drive-through driveway, ample parking, and city-maintained roads that do not require four-wheel drive. The host was AMAZING and very easy to contact with any suggestions or questions we had about the house and area. The house was super clean and decorated beautifully! Very comfortable beds and linens. The view was spectacular and we loved everything about this cabin. We will definitely keep in mind for future visits!

Macy was very responsive. The home was clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured but I think even better in person. The location was excellent! We would love to come back again next year!

We so enjoyed our stay. The house was very accommodating and well supplied with necessities. Enjoyed the game room, playing pool and watching the Olympics on the big screen. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Got lucky with a couple of inches of snow, which our kids enjoyed using the sleds provided. Looking forward to another visit.

Loved the property: the outdoor deck and game room space were big hits. The check-in process couldn’t have been easier.The only thing we missed was a toaster and ironing board. The board seems silly for a place known for hiking and skiing, but we had an event requiring dress attire. However, both things were easy to make due.

With two children and one more arriving this September, our hearts and home are growing right along with our family. We love exploring the outdoors and embracing all that the mountains have to offer. Our hope is that this space becomes a place where lasting memories are made, laughter is shared, and everyone feels at home.

Our neighborhood is a quiet safe retreat, surrounded by stunning mountain and creek views. It’s not uncommon to spot wild turkeys or white-tailed deer wandering nearby, and from the front porch, you can often see cattle grazing in the distance—a truly serene and pastoral sight.

What makes this place so special is its perfect balance: while it feels like a private getaway nestled in nature, it’s just minutes from town, slopes, and all the amenities you could need. It’s the best of both worlds—tranquil seclusion with the convenience of nearby shops, dining, and activities. During the snowy season the neighborhood roads are maintained by the city, offering easy access year round.

We bought this property with our growing family at heart. With young children and aging parents, it was important to us to find a place that everyone could enjoy comfortably. This home offers incredibly easy access—no stairs are needed to reach the main floor, which includes the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, main porch, and game room. Bringing in groceries or luggage is a breeze, and those who have difficulty with stairs can relax and enjoy the space without worry.

The downstairs level features an additional living room, porch, master bedroom, bunk room, and a large laundry area. In our family, the kids love sleeping downstairs while the grandparents enjoy the peace and privacy of the main level. We’ve made sure to include cozy seating and quality beds throughout the home so that everyone can feel at ease and truly enjoy their time here.
