Whoa, a perfect location it secluded and off the road but in a location that is still close to all the attractions in the area. The home was perfect, clean, lots of room and well kept. The owner TJ was very accommodating and quick to answer questions and provide information on the area.

This home is so beautiful and in such a peaceful location. It had everything we needed and we would love to stay there again. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The host was quick to respond with any question we had. I would recommend staying here also because of the breathtaking view of the mountain sunrise from the master bedroom and balcony.

I stayed here with eight other people to be close to the Sunshine Mountain Lodge wedding venue. The house was big enough to accommodate all of us, with three bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower level, one bedroom and bathroom on the main level and two twin beds and a comfortable futon bed in the loft. Check-in was easy and the host was quick to answer questions during booking and during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning. We had a daily visit from a fox and saw bighorn sheep and a moose nearby as well. I recommend this property and would stay here again.

Great location and room for lots of people. I felt it was a little overpriced for the quality of the beds and kitchenware. But that’s most rentals near a national park these days.

I hate to hear that you did not believe the custom antler lights with 6 bulbs on a dimmer switch, overhead lighting in the kitchen with multiple bulbs, lighting over the stove, lighting over the kitchen table, 2 floor lamps, table lamp lighting with custom leather shades over the shuffleboard, flush lighting in the bookshelves, was sufficient.

We stayed here with our 4 generations of family for my mom's 80th birthday! Everyone loved the house. The modern rustic decor is gorgeous everywhere you look. Every detail is perfection. Everything you could need is in this house: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryers, air mattresses, air pump, grill, smoker, laundry detergent, sunscreen, bug spray, bear spray, lots of pillows and blankets, food warmers, dishes, and on and on...We went for a short walk on the property and came face to face with a moose! We also saw an elk right outside the window early one morning! The coffee pot wouldn't work, but we just bought pods for the Keurig for the next day. We were close to everything to do in Estes Park and even got to park in the garage! So many games, toys, and puzzles for all ages! We saw the creek down the road a ways but never ventured down there and we weren't sure where the private entry to RMNP was, but obviously found plenty to do!The loft is bigger than expected. When the older people go to sleep downstairs, they can't even hear the loud, younger people still having fun and carrying on upstairs. They even had white noise machines that some of us utilized! The upstairs bathroom door does roll open on its own a bit, so just be aware of that...The shuffleboard table is absolutely addicting for everyone in our group ages 1-53! This host and home are phenomenal! We would all love to go back and we will all cherish the memories we made here!

Family Trip 2025

Our family had a great time! We enjoyed our time together and the house made for great memories with how open it is and we really enjoyed the shuffle board table! The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Our grands enjoyed the loft area but it would have been nice to have window coverings to help with the morning light. We had some issues with the windows and screens but were able to get them working. We loved how close we were to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park…we enjoyed both!

Secluded, Peaceful Cabin in the Woods

House was as advertised in every way! Homeowner was quick to respond to every question that we had. The suggestions of restaurants, sites, itinerary, companies (white water rafting) were so helpful to maximize the 5 days we had. We followed the suggestions and everyone was great. We would recommend Snowy Peaks Winery. If you are looking for a place with plenty of room to spread out or a place to have a family gathering, this place will fit the bill! There is room to sit around a large table for meals and afterward to play card or board games. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Wonderful place to disconnect from it all for a week

Location remote- loved it. Moose, elk and coyote we think all seen on property. Fixed all our meals but one for the whole week - kitchen was good. Plenty of space, large open area. Fires in fireplace was wonderful. Bathrooms large. Beds comfy. Some updates needed to home but just a little. Definitely stop at a grocery store before getting to the house save you time. TJ , our host, was the best host we have had in all the VRBOs. He replied to question right away, was very helpful and kind. He went above and beyond and made our stay the best!
We spent a lot of time on the deck! Lots of hummingbirds!

Our family loves wildlife, the Rockies and the serenity of nature. We like to work hard and take getaways to this beautiful and refreshing place, in the mountains. The fresh air supports our health and wellness.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We grew up coming to Tahosa Ranch in the 1980's to 2000's to visit our grandparents in this cabin, playing in the creek and hoping to catch a glimpse of a moose. This is an idyllic place to enjoy a family vacation, romantic getaway, relax in solitude or hike for miles. Perfectly situated on Peak to Peak highway, nestled against the forest and minutes from Estes Park, where we love to take our kids and near the Rocky Mountain National Park, where we like to drive through and watch the animals on our way to and from the sled hill. Less than one mile from the amazing Wild Basin with Copeland Lake and Copeland Falls. A very lovely place and experience.
