We arrivied at 21.50 and our flat was clearly occupied by someone. We contacted the host, with great difficulty since there is no human being on the other side but an automatic system. We finally spoke to someone that did not trust us and said that everything was ok with the flat. We had to go back to our occupied flat , luckily no one was inside at the moment, we took pictures to prove that someone was occupying it. We were told to look for an hotel by ourselves. We obviously refused and said they created the problem they had to find a solution. They sent us to a hotel saying they had made a reservation, once arrived, in Paris at 23.00 end of november is very cold, dragging around our suitcases....the hotel said they had no reservation for us. After a couple of hours we finally got a room (paid by us and then reimboursed) in another hotel. The day after nothing happened, no one contacted us to tell us where we should go....having left the hotel we were homeless. We had to go in person to the office of the host wasting 2 hrs of our time and we were given another flat in the same building. The next morning the cleaners came to clean up because they did not know we just arrived. In the afternoon somebody entered into our new flat, we found the lights on and the door opened, so clearly there was some overlapping. It appears that Sweet in had some very serious problems with the reservations and did not care much about the fact that we were homeless because of their fault. We received no discount or compensation for all this we went through.
