Thank you for your review. The feedback is useful as it helps me to provide an always higher service. The apartment is cleaned at every departure of guests. You mentioned it could have been cleaner. That is why I will let know my housecleaning lady and ask her to make a still better job.

Thank you for your review Jeanne. Happy you enjoyed your stay. I well noticed your points. The pillows are filled with goose feathers and perhaps too soft for your taste. I will add harder ones. The tape was used to attach the cover to the sofa. Just remove it to have the pure leather sofa. Lastly, even if that could wait, sanding and sealing of the parquet floor are planned in the coming weeks, as soon as the apartment is available for several consecutive days.

I find your comment unfairly harsh and I respond in detail to your comments below. First of all, know that the apartment is thoroughly cleaned by a professional between each rental. I'm still waiting for pictures of the so-called dirty places you mention. It is not the seat handles (there are none!!!) but the cushion fasteners that are simply disconnected. A problem solved since then. The kitchen bin, broken by the previous tenant, has been changed and is now brand new. What you improperly call "clutter" actually includes: - In the drawers: guides (restaurants, museums, walks) on Paris, a smartphone and its charger, instructions for use of household appliances, scented candles, books in English, a selfies device for smartphones, two umbrellas, a shopping bag,... - In the kitchen cupboards: oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, Nespresso coffee cartridges, luxury brand tea "Mariage Frères" and "Dammann Frères", dry cakes, Nutella,... aso, not to mention the complete crockery, with teapot, toaster, blender, coffee pots, pans, pots and cutlery... - In the living room cupboards: an iron and a foldable ironing board suspended with hangers, blankets for dishcloths, toilet paper supplies,... I think they are better in drawers or cabinets than anywhere else in the apartment! - In the fridge: cold drinks and free ice cream for the pleasure of the tenants! But maybe you would have preferred a lifeless apartment without personality, with empty drawers and completely devoid of decorations. This is not my idea of hospitality! Finally, good news, the parquet floor will very soon be renovated and a carpet in pure wool design colors has been added for the comfort of the tenants. Daniel

Dear Beverly, I am happy that you found the location good. But very much surprised about your other comments. I don't think I deserve 2 stars only and that is why I will answer in detail. Let's forget about my absence when you arrived (I warned you in advance) and about the difficulty in getting the key out of the safety deposit box (no one has ever complained about that either). These are minor things and be sure I always try to be there to welcome my guests whenever I can. I also specify that cleaning is always thoroughly done after each departure. The fridge is systematically emptied and cleaned and the coffee cartridges are replenished. I now come to your remarks on the presence of "bugs" in my apartment. I really question the veracity of your comments and I will demonstrate it below. First of all, strangely, when you reported this problem to me, you had arrived in the apartment 15 days ago, and you had left it for Italy for 3 days. Why did you take so long to tell me and especially why did you do it from Italy? When I asked you, you failed to send the least proof of this, not even a photo of the so-called bugs! Please agree that it's weird. I naturally asked several people to immediately come to the apartment in order to check, one of them was my housekeeper. They checked everywhere, the sheets, the mattress, the linen, ..., looked under the beds, in the cupboards... Result: no bugs anywhere!! Weird !. According to my cleaning lady, you would have tried to find this subterfuge to shorten your rental and obtain a refund. She works a lot with rental platforms and told me that invoking the presence of bedbugs or insects is the means frequently used by holidaymakers. A tip that runs on social networks it seems. I don't say it is your case, but the fact is that NEVER EVER, I have been told about the presence of any bugs at all in my apartment and when I asked you to bring me the slightest proof, you completely failed to do so.

Thank you for your comment David. It is very useful for me, in order to improve the experience of my guests, which is my main objective. I got your point about air freshener oil. I will tell the cleaning girl to change it (vanilla perfume) for a softer and more discrete one. As for the linen, I changed them right after your departure, because there has been some delay in the command. Pivoting chairs in the living room have always been appreciated by guests. I don't know what you mean by sneaky. It is a high-quality every-day convertible sofa, very convenient to use and much enjoyed by renters.

Thank you for your review Bobbi. Linen have been changed and are now quite new. The apartment has a surface of 376 sft ( as mentioned in the ad) and perfectly designed for up to 4 persons.

I was happy to offer to you and your family a full satisfaction of your requests (early check-in, late check-out, the taxi ride from the airport, gifts to his children, ...). Unsurprisingly, the wooden floor was still wet as you arrived 2 hours sooner than scheduled, i.e. right after cleaning had been made. And the odor was that of cleaning products, vanishing with time. Sandals you wore were those I freely hold at the disposal of guests, happy you appreciated. Sorry for not having been able to reply immediately to your messages but I was on the train without any communication network. As for the unfortunate linen issue, I easily proved to HomeAway that you’re the one who damaged them, certainly accidentally. I only regret you never apologized for that and didn’t acknowledge the facts. Useless to attach too much importance to that, it was not a big deal. Nevertheless, despite this minor incident, I am happy you enjoyed your stay. This is the sole objective of my constant efforts in favor of my guests.
