We were very impressed with the cottage. It was even better than the pictures showed. It was so clean and there was plenty of room for the two of us plus our dog. We would definitely stay there again. Marita was fantastic to work with!

Marita was super easy to work with and her place was perfect for my wife and I for our weekend.

Very wonderful place for a couple to have some time away. Very nice cottage and well stocked kitchen as well.

Perfect place to stay

Attended a family reunion in Harpers Ferry and the Cottage was great. Our host was great and the Cottage had all of the supplies covered. I would stay again.

Amazing Amenities

This cottage was a beautiful place to stay. The decorating and cleanliness were fantastic. It was to nice to come back to this place after a day of hiking and sightseeing.

I had a lovely, comfortable stay at this property. It is a very well-maintained new build, was super clean, quiet, decorated beautifully, and of course there is the surrounding beauty of the driftless region!!! Be aware that the town of Harper's Ferry offers very few amenities. The quiet charm of this community is of course a plus, but if you want to eat somewhere other than a local bar, it is a 15-20 minute drive to restaurants in Prairie du Chien, Marquette or McGregor. Same for a grocery store, but even then, when I looked in this property's kitchen for a skillet to cook eggs in for breakfast - I was disappointed to find only a very scratched up skillet that I decided not to use. This could totally be just my strict personal preference, but I avoid using cookware with that much wear and tear because of the risk of toxic metals leeching into my food. Even so, I know that a couple of new skillets is an easy improvement for the manager to make, and I would recommend this property 100%. It was quiet, very comfortable, and I enjoyed multiple walks to the small park nearby where there were benches to sit and watch the river, and the fisherman and women who navigate it. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful Stay

This property is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at using VRBO. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The property was well appointed, tidy, and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this property for your stay in Harper’s Ferry. You will not be disappointed!

Cozy, homey retreat

The Cottage is one of the nicest rentals my spouse and I have ever stayed at. The space is cozy and homey, spotlessly clean, and effortlessly welcoming. We enjoyed our visit immensely, and would stay here again in a heartbeat if we ever come back to the area.
