The house was adorable. It was conveniently located to all the tourist spots we were visiting. The owner/or manager of this property [Rachel] was extremely nice and very responsive.

The prefect getaway in a cute little town. There are a number of scenic drives in the area and many places to go hiking, great local restaurants, as well as beautiful sunrise and sunsets on the river. The house was easy to find, clean and spacious. The host was accommodating and responded quickly to any needs or concerns we had.

Great place.

Nice location. House is nicely furnished and well stocked. Michele was very responsive with reservation, check in & check out. Would recommend without hesitation and would stay there again.

Sisters weekend, went back to visit our childhood stomping grounds on the Mississippi River, in a home not a tent or travel trailer. The home was very clean and comfortable. Great location in Prairie Du Chien. Of course we had to stop at Stark’s and Pete’s for a famous burger!

Nice quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown PDC. Open common areas for socializing and playing games. Comfortable beds. Rachel was wonderful to work with. Fair price. We had a wonderful time!

Lovely Weekend Getaway

A lovely place in Prairie du Chien, close to Wyalusing State Park and the Mississippi river. It's a short 10 minute walk from downtown Prairie du Chien, and St. Feriole island, so it's easy to walk around and explore! The place is modern, spacious, and clean, and the king bed was very comfy. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay as always

We look forward to booking here every year. Great set up and we love the location. Minutes from great food. We love that there is always something fresh baked and awaiting our arrival. Cant wait till next year.

Cozy and convenient!

We have stayed here a few times and love the home and it is an easy walk to downtown. Thanks for another great weekend in PDC! And the bread was delicious.

Perfect stay

It was super clean and everything was comfortable. Our 7 adult family members fit absolutely fine which is not an easy thing. The kitchen/dining area is really large so it works well for a big group

Gals Fall Trip

This is a great house with plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. It’s fully stocked with kitchen essentials, toiletries, towels, linens and extra blankets. Our group has stayed twice and have reserved it again!

Perfect place for friend groups!

This house worked perfectly for a get-together of 8 friends! It was very clean, towels and blankets were very well-stocked, and the spacious dining room and table were absolutely perfect! The best part is that it's walking distance to St. Feriole Island and to unique shops. Rachel was SUPER responsive whenever I had a question. I would 100% stay at her house again if I'm ever in Prairie du Chien!

Enjoyed our Stay!

My husband and I were in town for a family reunion and we booked Rivertown Getaway for the weekend. We enjoyed having the extra space it provided. We liked being able to have a full kitchen for meals that we chose to eat there rather than out. The bed was very comfortable and everything was just as it said in the information. It was perfect for us! Thanks Rachel! We will rebook in the future!

Weekend Wedding

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway! Rachel's communication was superb from beginning to end. This home was in an excellent location for us as our wedding reception was at The Barn just north of town. Rachel's home is very clean and neat and had everything that we needed. We ran out of time this weekend to take in all the sights/activities that Prairie du Chien has to offer. I will definitely return to Rachel's home for our next visit!
