Charm, Luxury and Comfort in Bruges

17th century family house in the city center. Recently (2012) renovated with a beautiful town garden and terrace. Interior: Authentic elements (brick wall, wooden stairs, original fireplaces) combined with modern comfort.
All facilities are within walking distance and the house is 20 minutes by car to go to the seaside.

Housing
In the city center, completely renovated in 2012, very spacious (200 m²), 3 floors. Underfloor heating on the ground floor, WIFI, digital TV, DVD player, iPod docking station, Sonos wireless music system, hair dryer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, oven , dishwasher, small freezer in the stand-alone refrigerator. A separate bathroom and a shower room "on-suite". 2 double beds and 1 bunk bed in the children's room. Have breakfast in the garden in summer: teak garden furniture, 2 deckchairs, barbecue, ....

Access of travelers
The whole house is at your disposal with the exception of our dressing room and some cabinets that contain our private belongings :-).

Presentation of the neighborhood
Many eating places within walking distance. Get out of the house and visit Bruges on foot or rent a bike in the center. Pharmacy, bakery, butcher, supermarket, .... 250m from our door. 20 min drive to the sea

Really enjoyed staying at this property, and spacious. Stairs in the property could be challenging for anyone with limited mobility. Short walk into the main market area, and supermarket within 90 metres. Bars and restaurants close by. Easy to find property via Google Maps. Would highly recommend, and would stay here again.

Lovely clean accommodation with plenty of spaces, comfortable beds and plenty of crockery and cutlery. All the mod cons whilst blending fabulously within the Bruge character. Close to amenities and restaurants. Bedrooms are up stairs.

Traveled with our 3 teens/young adults and it was perfect! Being out of the tourist area was important to us and everything was in close walking distance. Lynn was a terrific host and replied quickly with any questions. Her dining recommendations were great too!

Great stay!

Very spacious property with everything you could need for a comfortable stay in Bruges. A short walk in to the historic centre and plenty of nice bars and shops in the immediate area.

Wonderful place to unwind and explore Bruges

We loved our stay at this house. It was spacious, well equipped, and had a lovely garden to relax in. It's a very easy walk to the central area without being in the middle of all the noise.

Walkable to everywhere

Simple unobtrusive exterior gives way to spacious, modern interior blended with 300+ year old walls and hearths. Lovely garden in back.

Wonderful Location

The house was spotless and had everything you would need. Our host was wonderful, great communication. A few things to know, these are not exclusive to this property. Most of the renovated homes this age have the same issue. The stairs are steep, short and curve. The second set of stairs are what seem to be the original wood. Property is not suitable for anyone who has any mobility issues. We actually left all our luggage downstairs and only went upstairs to sleep. There is no air conditioning and can get very hot. If on the rare occasions, it is hot in Bruges. Also two of the bedrooms face the street and can be noisy. That being said, the house is beautiful. The location is amazing and we certainly would stay there again. There’s a beautiful dining room and a comfortable living room that are not shown in the pictures.

Amazing Space!

A beautiful, sympathetically restored historic house in the heart of Bruge. The perfect base for a girls shopping and sightseeing trip. Lynn was great at suggesting local places and the house is a huge space! Being an old building the stairs were challenging!

Great house in a great location, with a short walk into the center of town. The house was fully equipped and we especially liked being able to sit outside on the patio after a long day of walking with a drink in hand. Owner was always quick to respond to any questions we had..

Fabulous place, way better than the photos!

Such a beautiful place, architect design influence but comfortable too! Really well located for everything in Bruges but nice & quiet to come back to. There was plenty of room and although it was cold & snowy, lovely to see it had a garden too! Perfect to come back in the spring! Thanks to Lynn the owner who was also really accommodating and helpful for a late check in and out!

Beautiful place and a fabulous location in Bruges

A beautifully renovated house. Very spacious and warm. There was plenty of space for four of us. The location is fantastic, with a good grocery store only a few steps away and excellent nearby restaurants. The city center and historical sites are a very easy walk. I highly recommend this home for a visit to Bruges.

Two nights in Brugge

Family of 5 with 3 teens - we loved that we had space to spread out, the backyard was lovely, and the historic charm of the house was perfect. Appreciated having facilities to do laundry and location provided easy access to the sights of town. Great communication from the owner. Overall a highlight of our vacation for everyone in our family.
