Great House

Loved our stay at Island Girl. Location was great with quick beach access and walking distance to restaurants. Would stay again. Managed by Surf or Sound so booking actually went through their website after initial VRBO booking they assigned a personal point person who was wonderful to work with during our stay.*Only "complaint" no cleaning supplies at house so I felt bad leaving dog nose smudges on windows

Excellent getaway

Property was as advertised. This was the cleanest rental I’ve ever had. Great location and a lot of amenities. We enjoyed our stay.

Family 2023 Summer Vacation

Island Girl was very clean and well stocked for easy meal prep and cooking. Hot tub was enjoyed by all. The screen porch came in handy due to multiple rainy days. The outdoor shower was awesome. The top balcony was great for watching the night stars on a clear night. This house is four houses away from beach access and with high dunes, makes it pretty challenging to view the beach or ocean. The outdoor grill, in our opinion, was not useable and should be replaced.

Nice Beach House

It was a nice beach house with everything you would expect. The drained and cleaned out the hot tub on the first day. Nicely equipped with a air hockey table and plenty of comfortable beds. The only (very minor) issue I noticed that a couple of the screen door handles were not working as they should. It is close to the beach but I must warn you that there are 2 high dunes (therefore anyone with mobility issues should be aware of that before booking). Overall, great experience and I would book it again.

Fun Trip/Location

Loved the atmosphere and location of this property. Our week there was quiet and enjoyable with a small walk right onto the beach. We sort of wish we would've stayed two weeks rather than one! Downside was we couldn't get into the property until 5pm due to cleaning being done. We drove 8 hours from PA with three children (one that just turned one) and had to find things to do for another 3 hours. Once we arrived everything looked great besides a few things... 1. Found blood streaks on the wall of one bedroom 2. Found a used tissue by the light stand. 3. We vacuumed the downstairs because we found things here and there, we filled the entire vacuum canister. 4. Mold on the upstairs bathroom curtain. 5. Dried snot on the bedroom pillow. Basically I think I would've rathered just not have whoever it was clean and was able to get inside sooner than later as if cleaning it wasn't needed anyways.

Island Girl = Heaven

Our family loved this home! The kitchen was fully stocked, the furniture and beds were so comfy! We enjoyed the games, basketball hoop, porches, hot tub, and short walks to the beach and Muffins & Scones! A perfect getaway and something for everyone!

Amazing stay!

My Aussie and I had a wonderful time! We enjoyed walking the beaches finding sand dollars and other great shells, toured the lighthouse not far from the beach house, amazing food close by!

Fun Vacation

My daughter and I had a wonderful time. . We would have appreciated information on the tv remotes and which one to use for what. A couple of remotes did not have batteries. We purchased them.

Great House for Family Get-away

We enjoyed the house for our family vacation. The check in was a little rough because it was not ready at 4pm and then when we were told it was ready, someone was still inside the house. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned better and most of the dishes were dirty. There were multiple sightings of roaches during our stay and the management company told us they would come out and spray when we called them. We enjoyed the house layout being open so that we felt like everyone was always near and not cut off from the rest of the family. There was plenty of seating for our family of 11 as we cooked most of our meals in the well-stocked kitchen. The house was stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation and we loved using the hot tub after long days on the beach. The rocking chairs on the porch were broken, but the wooden chairs and bench were quite comfy. Despite the cleanliness issues, we had a great time.

Beautiful home. Very close to beach.

The house was beautiful, bright and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Everything was clean. Only saw a few items that needed attention: handle on freezer door missing and some black mold in upstairs bathroom on ceiling above toilet. Surround sound didn't work. Grill was the only thing not cleaned when we arrived. I do wish the description on the beach access was better explained as it was extremely difficult for my elderly mother walking up over the dune. All in all it was a wonderful vacation.
