This location can’t be beat for enjoying Carmel! Space was comfortable and offered an elevator to our 2nd story condo which was very helpful with luggage. Great communication from host regarding checkin. Minimal check out requests. We would stay here again even though there are a few items we would change/note. Parking: anything larger than a mid sized sedan will not fit in the designated parking garage. If there is an event going on downtown, good luck finding street parking. Kitchen: it has enough plates, cups, utensils but there wasn’t even k-cups or any spare spices. Overall condition: It needs some love. The walls are scuffed/dirty, couch and linens show signs of heavy wear and stains. Cobwebs in corners and light switches didn’t always work or the lights were dim.

Comfortable, good location

Our family of three had a nice stay at Banyan. The location is ideal, very walkable and close to shops, restaurants, with a local market just around the corner. Overall, we were comfortable and had a good experience. The furnishings and unit overall could use a bit of attention and updating, there were torn cushions on the sofa and torn throw pillows, scuffed walls, cobwebs, dim light bulbs, etc. We had plenty of space to relax when we were there but spent most of the trip exploring the beautiful town of Carmel and the surrounding area.

The property was everything it was represented to be. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and available 24 hours a day. You can believe the other reviews. We would definitely stay there again.

Could NOT have been more perfect!!

We’ve traveled to Carmel a dozen times, and this time decided to stay in a VRBO for more flexibility and space, since we were traveling with friends. We found Banyan — and from booking to departure, everything was perfect! The location is ideal: quiet, spacious, clean, and well-organized. Everything we needed was readily available. The garage was a bit too small for our SUV, so we did not use it for the car, but it worked perfectly for storing our golf clubs — much easier than bringing them into the condo. We had no trouble finding street parking nearby. Communication with Kyle was excellent — fast, easy, and responsive. Our only complaint? We couldn’t stay longer! Next time we visit Carmel, this will be the first place we check for availability. Diana and Greg T.

Wonderful location for Carmel Plaza and Ocean Avenue shopping and dinug. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The offered garage was specified for use by smaller cars, but appeared to only be suitable for Minis and Smartcars.

Perfection!

Banyan really is in the perfect spot. It is an upscale, well stocked condo. While it is in the downtown area, it is very quiet and comfortable. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, and a market across the street. We plan to come back soon!

Great location!

We loved the location of this home in Carmel. We stored the car and never used it again. Rented e-bikes and rode up to Cannary Road for lunch via the coastal road. A must do!

Well appointed condo!

The condo was spacious and clean. Lots of windows so the light was lovely. Nice location with a lovely Lebanese/Greek restaurant across the road on Junapero. I would recommend it.

Great property!

Banyan unit is wonderful. It was an easy walk to all the shops and restuarants in Carmel. No issues with parking on the street as we had a large SUV. We will rent again!

Wonderful condo, great location.

We really enjoyed this condo. Well stocked, close to everything. The access code emailed to us was incorrect but we were able to call and get a code that worked without any trouble.

Great place to stay in Carmel

The apartment was clean. Staff very helpful. We had an issue with the living area fireplace not starting. Someone stopped by within an hour to fix it and this was outside normal working hours. Easy walk to the ocean. Thanks.

Local Luxury

Carmel-by-the-Sea complete immersion. We left the car in the garage over our entire stay. Uber is easy if you prefer to go further afield. One could easily live here fulltime. Beautiful as it is cozy...cannot wait to return.

Awesome Condo

The condo was absolutely perfect for our group of 2 couples. Condo was clean, spacious, and beautiful inside. The location is awesome - within walking distance of the beach and of all of the restaurants and shopping that Carmel has to offer. Would definitely stay here again!
