Review for stay from 07 May 2022 to 14 May 2022

My wife and I along with six other couples had the privilege of staying in the Villa Petrognano the week of May 7 through May14, 2022and it was the highlight of our three week trip to Europe. This property is stunningly beautiful a meticulously maintained. The photos on the website cannot capture its essence-the property far exceeded our expectations. The owner Claudia, was welcoming, accommodating and an absolute pleasure to work with. The chef, Leonardo and his staff treated us to a culinary delight on our final night at the villa. We would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a wonderful Tuscan experience for a group of family or friends.

Review for stay from 13 May 2017 to 27 May 2017

Myself, along with my husband and a group of twelve others had the opportunity to stay in this lovely villa. It was like walking into a movie....absolutely breathtaking. All the rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and the grounds were wonderful. We enjoyed the pool, veranda, and everything about this villa. Claudia, the owner was such a lovely lady and very helpful to us. If you ever want to take that Tuscan vacation this is the place to stay. You will not be disappointed. It is a place that we would stay again and again.

Review for stay from 15 September 2012 to 22 September 2012

The villa was beautiful and the area was as well. The owner, Claudia, was extremely helpful. The caretaker/chef, Monica was incredible..so much so that we had her cook for us every night for the whole week we were there. There was nothing she couldn't do! She made our visit a delight. We had rented another villa in 2007 in Lucca and didn't think it could be surpassed. Well thanks to Monica's presence and the villa itself, it more than surpassed Lucca, it set a new standard. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone as an unforgetable experience.

Review for stay from 23 July 2011 to 30 July 2011

The villa is situated in a wonderfull and quiet environment. The gardens are well maintained and the interior is well designed and maintained. The airco works well and is silent. There are however some negative points that can be improved certainly for the price that is paid. 1. In the kitchen there is almost no storage place for the food of 16 adults for those that want to cook themselves. The only available cupboard is closed for private use by the owner. 2. At the swimming pool there are only 5 sunbeds that allow adults to lay in the sun. For the others there is only place under the sunroof in a large sofa. 3. The garage is partly taken by a private car of the owner and some spare or broken items as beds, chairs etc. 4. Although there is plenty cookware some essential stuff is missing as e.g. electrical mixer. 5. The kitchen knives are far from being sharp. 6. In the pool there is a loose stone above filter hole that can and has caused an injury at the feet. 7. One of the jacuzzi baths is not working (master bedroom)
