Great place

As a horse lover it was so nice to wake up and look out my window at the beautiful horses. The home is old but nice, everything was clean and it was a nice place for our family to stay. We went on a trail ride with the guide and she was great. All the horses are very well behaved and taken care of!

Great farm getaway

The historic house was nice, but we definitely came for the horse farm. Everyone enjoyed feeding the horses throughout the stay and the riding lesson was great!! Will definitely be back.

Great place!

The house was spacious, clean and fully equipped. Our 10 month old loved crawling all over the beautiful wood floor. The horses and surroundings were beautiful, and Jami was extremely welcoming and helpful :)

Horse Country

The outdoor setting was peaceful and relaxing whether sitting on the front porch with morning coffee or enjoying the late afternoon quiet. The morning mist at the back of the house revealed several horses in their pastures. A surprise upon arriving was the huge bag of carrots in the refrigerator for feeding the horses. That was very special. Ocala and other attractions are close by.

Fun family weekend

The house was extremely clean and sits on a quiet property surrounded by horses. The beds are super comfortable. The staff are super friendly. We rode horses while there and as experienced riders we had a wonderful time on the trail.

Wonderful Stay. We'll be back.

This place is serene, cozy, and well kept. It was perfect for an incredible family weekend. Our daughters took riding lessons with Jennifer and Jennifer was an absolutely awesome coach. My youngest daughter (4) was terrified of the horses at first, but Jennifer didn't pressure her, and was patiently showing her how she takes care of her horses. 20 minutes later she was riding by herself with Jennifer guiding her. Jami was an excellent hostess and checked on us without being intrusive. She's considerate and kind. The historic home is an inviting, excellently maintained establishment. It was a blessing every morning to walk out to the kitchen and see horses grazing in the pasture. This place is a true gem with wonderful people. My family is looking forward to coming back.

a relaxing getaway in the country

This house was charming, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed watching the horses on the pasture and even booked a guided trail ride. The house wasn’t far from downtown Ocala which was nice to explore!

Amazing experience!

My daughters are already planning a return trip to the farm. Jami and Jen are very friendly and welcoming. The horses are amazing! Will definitely be back.

Country Paradise

The photos are accurate. the experience was stellar, I absolutely loved it here. The hosts were helpful, kind and gracious. The barn, horses, and the dogs were perfect. I had local friends who would visit during the day and we loved feeding the horses and loving on them and the pups. so good to recharge and restore our souls. The front porch was so glorious and nothing better than waking up in the morning after a great night's sleep. Thank you

The magic of horses

My granddaughter absolutely loves horses. She fell in love with them even more this weekend. This gorgeous farm provides a picturesque field of grazing horses that welcome you as you settle into your stay. We rented the old cottage part of the home which was just perfect. Inviting. Comfortable beds. A nice outdoor seating was perfect for our morning coffee and breakfast. The stables housing the horses are just steps away. We fed every horse carrots until we ran out and even used the supply that Jami had left for us. The farm dogs were friendly. The pecans were fun for the gathering. Jennifer at at the stables was friendly and answered every question about the horses. We hope to return.

Awesome horse ranch!

We had an excellent time at this horse ranch. Loved the historic remodeled 2br house and enjoyed the horse ride with a sweet host and a skilled horse leader.. thank you Jami and Jennifer for a great time!

Perfect Short Retreat

Amazing place to get away for a few days but not too away from civilization. Owners were accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Jennifer has the patience of a saint with training the newcomer with the horses!

A horse adventure:)

In light of the pandemic and us being locked down for 3 months, we were looking for a change of scenery while still social distancing. Our 4 yr old was obsessed with a show Spirit on Netflix. So we chose this farm as our family destination, and we were pleasantly surprised how much we loved it! The house was comfortable, well equipped and clean, perfect for us. The farm was the surprise. Jennifer was awesome with our daughter and we learned so much about horses. Jennifer was so knowledgeable and was so patient with a nonstop talking little girl. Note: horses like carrots, so bring a big bag, so fun to feed . The dogs were another added bonus, so sweet and friendly. The location is not far from amazing bike trails, all skill levels, fresh water 72 degree springs to canoe, kayak, paddle board or swim. Thank you for a wonderful week!!!!

Amazing Property

The property was amazing. Even though the weather did not cooperate we still enjoyed the farm very much. The home is a beautiful home that met and exceeded all our expectations. We will be back for some riding lessons and trail rides. Jami communicated very well the instructions about the property and farm and she was available when we had questions. We will be back. Thank You Jami for sharing such a wonderful property!
