Do not recommend. Rent through Sunriver resort.
We stay in Sunriver every year. Usually multiple times a year. We usually rent through Sunriver Resort and have always had a high level, great experience. This was our first year renting with Vacasa. I DO NOT Recommend.
First of all, the overall experience felt cheap. The furniture felt cheap, the supplies in the house felt cheap, and the experience left low quality.
When we arrived a burner on the range was broken. We were notified after check in that this was an issue. The broken grate was left on the counter. We were told the grate would be fixed the next day and it was never fixed in the 4 days we were there. The next thing is we went out to the hot tub and it was off, cold and had no chlorine tablets. Next, upstairs in the bathroom the shower curtain was moldy.
The kitchen was poorly stocked and there was no salt or pepper. There were lots of empty space in cabinets and for a house as big as this place, it should be fully stocked.
The next day we walked up to the new pool in Caldera Springs. We had little toddlers with us and all our stuff. It was 90 degrees out that day. We go to check in and find out that we don’t have access because we rent through Vacasa. Only visitors who rent through SR resort have access. My biggest gripe is that vacasa never communicated this to us.
Overall the experience compared to renting with SR resort was poor. I won’t be renting through Vacasa again.
