Lakefront Cottage on Seneca Lake in Geneva, New York - Finger Lakes

Lakefront vacation cottage with beautiful Seneca Lake as your backyard. Located in the picturesque Finger Lakes in Geneva. Stay here and visit award winning vineyards and breweries, access to incredible hiking, and of course, kayaking and other water sports on Seneca Lake. Wake up to serene sunrises and coffee on the dock and relax with a glass of wine while watching the moon rise from the deck. There is also a charming lakeside cabin to relax in after coming back from the lake or during the rain!

Close to Hobart and William Smith Colleges and the City of Geneva. Just a 35 minute drive to Watkins Glen. Note that the two twin beds are part of a trundle bed. Guests have access to 2 kayaks and 1 canoe (holds 2-3 people).

Geneva has a town ordinance of quiet time between 10pm and 7am. It is enforced.

All water activities are at your own risk and children should always be supervised near the water. Life jackets are available. Parking is available for 3 cars. Only park in the driveway (not the gravel--this is my neighbor's!). There is a train next to the road in front of the house. It only comes 1 to 2 times per day and never at night but should not be an issue.

While this property does not allow pets, this is not a pet free property. The owner has pets but the property is cleaned very well at all times.

This is a great stay, with great lakefront views, an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, comfortable living space inside and out. Laura leaves great recommendations for restaurants, wineries, hikes and such. Geneva is a great little town. We love it and will be back!

We had an amazing stay at this lakeside property! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The home was spotless — the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were all in pristine condition, which made settling in incredibly easy and comfortable.The location is unbeatable. Nestled right on the lake, it feels peaceful, yet it’s still close enough to town for quick grocery runs or dining out. It’s the perfect balance of quiet relaxation and convenience.And the views? Absolutely stunning. Watch in the sunrise in the was breathtaking. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and scenic lakeside getaway.

Clean, thoughtfully equipped property. Especially enjoyed the availability of kayaks and canoes and the fire pit. We watched the sunrise and the moonrise from the dock. Host was responsive before and during our stay. Highly recommend!

Fun at the Fingerlakes

The lakeside property was gorgeous and very clean. Was very relaxing. There were all the amenities that you could think of available. You don't have to bring anything extra. She has it all! The outside dock was gorgeous and relaxing, with gorgeous views. Tip- there are reclining folding chairs in the cabin that we used on the dock as well. That cabin also served as a cute additional hangout and storage for extra activities. The fridge, dishwasher and stove could use some updating. But all in all, did work fine. I would definitely stay here again!! Was close to Watkins Glen state park, wineries, boating, and was 2 hours from Niagara Falls, to which we ventured. You can't go wrong staying at this lovely home. I highly recommend it.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and stocked with everything needed to enjoy the lake and surrounding areas. Bring food, clothes, and drinks. Understated amenities. The dock house was a cool hangout for kiddo.

Amazing vacation by lake Seneca

We had an amazing time at this lakefront property! Second year in a row for us vacationing in the lake house and we cannot wait to go back. The house was sparkling clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. There was plenty to do in the area (we loved visiting vineyards, Niagara Falls, and lake Ontario), making our stay both relaxing and fun. Laura is incredibly responsive and she made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!!

Quiet and Beautiful home

We loved the house. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The living room was cozy and the outdoor spaces were great too. Our sons loved escaping to the cabin. In addition to the close proximity to wineries and the town of Geneva, we loved that the home was within driving distance of a bunch of state parks with great hikes. The lake was quiet and peaceful.

Property was wonderful. Immaculate when we arrived. Enough room for 6 of us plus baby. Porch and deck provided lots of outdoor space to relax. Less than a 10 minute drive to charming Geneva which had lots of nice restaurants. Many wineries within 10 minutes as well.

Better than Advertized

When arriving, we walked around back and the pictures don't do justice to the setting. The deck off the house, the sitting area on the dock, it was all perfectly laid out and better than advertised. The inside of the house was just as great. I can not say good enough things about the cleanliness and condition of the property and furniture, as well as the stock of the kitchen items and toiletries at the property. Laura is an absolute pro at making her guests feel welcome and invited. We will definitely be coming back in the future for another great week at this wonderful house.

Location. Location. We are lakefront near the town of Geneva with access to many vineyards, breweries, shopping, hiking, water sports, and more. There is so much to do; you will want to come back again!

We have a bonus building on the property: An extra small cabin lakeside for the kids to hang out in or to get in out of the rain.
