Character House in Haut Anjou

Large 17th century house with its corridors and large spaces, allowing everyone to keep their privacy. 6 bedrooms, one of which is on the first floor, for 14 people (one bedroom with 2 double beds) Away from the house, facing the swimming pool, for a completely different more contemporary atmosphere. Living room with sports equipment (treadmill, multi-function weight machine, rowing machine and elliptical trainer). Available for table football, shuffleboard, molky and shuffleboard box game with holes. The heated swimming pool from the 1st but until September 30th but remains open until the end of October. Jacuzzi all year round. Enclosed garden of 1200 m2. TV and wifi.
Options available: sheets (15 euros per bed) and towels (5 euros per person) Cleaning option 150 euros., contact me.
For the 2025 season, arrivals and departures from July 19 to August 31 are only on Saturdays.

We had a fabulous stay. The house really has everything you need, lots of character, well kitted out and very comfortable, we hardly left.Plenty of space for our large group, and a fantastic outdoor area. Everybody loved the pool, pétanque, table tennis and table football. Pouance is a pretty sleepy town, but the Super U is just a few minutes from the house. Jacques was extremely welcoming, thank you so much!

Beautiful house in very pretty village

The house was absolutely beautiful, lots of space and furnished well with plenty of cooking equipment etc. Jacques could not have been more helpful, even organising us an extra nights accommodation when EasyJet moved our flights by a day! The village is really pretty in easy walking distance to two lakes however, it was extremely quiet, only 1 restaurant was open at the end of July/beginning of August. I would recommend you do hire a car if you stay here.

Family Holiday

A great stay for 3 generations of our family in this historic house. We had good weather and loved the garden and pool, but also the convenience of the location. An easy walk to the nearby lake for swimming/kayaks etc. bakery is opposite and short drive to supermarket. Market up the road for food on a Thursday morning. House is spacious and stays cool even in hot weather. Might be worth knowing one bedroom is only accessible through another bedroom or the bathroom, but this wasn’t a problem for us. Definitely recommended.

Nous avons passé un très bon entre ami.e.s dans la maison de Jacques et sa femme. Chaque pièce de la maison est agréable à vivre et bien pensé.Le jardin est super et regorge d'activités possibles, une piscine, une table de ping-pong et même un tout nouveau terrain de pétanque. La communication a été très fluide.Je recommande sans hésitations. Merci encore pour ce séjour !

Nous avons passé un excellent dan la superbe demeure de Jacques et Christèle qui ont été des hôtes très attentionnés. La maison est très belle, bien équipée, agréablement décorée, peut accueillir beaucoup de monde et la literie est très confortable. Nous recommandons vivement ! Merci Jacques et Christele.

Simplement merveilleux !

Superbe séjour dans une grande et magnifique demeure ancienne. Très belle décoration, équipement de la maison au top. Et l'extérieur ! Calme, beaucoup d'espace, joliment aménagé et une piscine! Chauffée a 29, les enfants ( et les adultes ) se sont éclatés . Un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse.

Lieu de séjour idéal pour des vacances en famille

Cette vaste maison très bien aménagée ainsi que le grand jardin clos offre toutes les possibilités pour des vacances réussies : grande piscine, jacuzzi, grands arbres dans le jardin, pièces et chambres spacieuses agréablement meublées. Les hôtes sont attentifs et sympathiques. A recommander.

Something for everyone

We had a really lovely two weeks at this property in August, it was more spacious than we thought it would be, the bedrooms were big, bright and airy. The outside space was much bigger than we thought, our children absolutely loved having the swings to play on as well as the really lovely pool which gets the sun pretty much all day into evening. Next to the pool, is actually a pool house with seating, a football table and a disco light! We loved sitting up there in the evenings with all the lights on surrounding the garden and pool. Also, not pictured, was a large shade sail - this was absolutely brilliant for the kids and baby as created much needed shade on the patio area. We were very surprised to find a hot tub outside shower room and little gym as well! The kitchen was very well equipped although we felt a BBQ would have been a great addition to outside- there is a gas fired grill plate however. The town itself was very quiet, not many shops were open but there was a super market less than 5 mins drive away and much bigger ones 15 mins away in chateaubriand. Sadly no restaurants to eat out in but you can get takeaway pizza and kebabs and there was a small cafe open intermittently. Every Thursday there was a small market which served excellent produce including fish. The town is situated perfectly to get out and about on the main route down to Angers- Terra Botanica is a must with children and adults alike- very beautiful and relaxing! There is a lake literally down the road from the property where you can swim and hire out kayaks and paddle boards as well as have an inflatable obstacle course! The property host was very friendly and helpful and when wasn’t available he had an extremely helpful contact where nothing was too much problem at all. All in all, we had a great time and was just what we needed as a family of 5 with three children under the age of six ( the tv had Netflix and Disney + accessible for those times of need !!!) the grandparents loved the shady trees to relax under and the rest of the family who came were also happy with everything there was in offer! Thank you so much for our stay !

Superbe !

Maison de ville qui cache un bien joli trésor ! Jacques est très accueillant, disponible et arrangeant. Escapade le temps d'un week-end pour l'anniversaire de mon conjoint, nous avons été très agréablement surpris par le charme de cette maison. Déco originale et soignée, literie au top, tout est spacieux et confortable. un extérieur magnifique, aussi bien la piscine que le petit salon qui lui fait face. Nous reviendrons avec certitude et recommandons vivement cette belle demeure !

Super séjour entres amis

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison correspond exactement aux critères rechercher pour un week-end entre amis. L'accueil de Jacques et Christèle est parfait. Nous avons été chanceux sur la météo et nous avons pu profiter des extérieurs.
