We stayed almost 2 wks and it would have been nice to have a change of bed linens and fresh towels. There is a small washer but it's not large enough to do a load of bed linens and there is no where to dry sheets. The location was perfect for us as it allowed us to do many day trips. The neighbourhood is a bit sketchy though and I wouldn't be comfortable wandering the streets in the evening.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Mazet bleu. Das Apartment ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlte an nichts! Die Vermieterin war sehr hilfsbereit und gab uns viele Tipps für Aktivitäten in und rundum Arles. Einziger Wermutstropfen war die fehlende Klimaanlage bei über 30C Außentemperatur. Die Lage zur Innenstadt ist super, fußläufig ist man in 10 Minuten an der Arena. Kurzum: alles bereit für einen erholsamen, erlebnisreichen, interessanten Urlaub in einer tollen Region.

Great host, great location

Mireille gave us a very warm welcome. We appreciated the week at Mazet Bleu and the short walk to the old part of Arles (wether for visiting the market or enjoying an evening aperitif).

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Die Lage ist ruhig und perfekt, um ganz Arles zu Fuss zu erkunden, oder Ausflüge mit dem Auto oder per Bahn zu unternehmen. Das Häuschen selber ist wunderbar mit der Pergola, Kakteen und Lavendel vor der Haustür. Innen alles vorhanden, was man braucht und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch zu viert mit 2 Teenagern haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und an den kühleren Abenden die Elektroöfen geschätzt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hat uns mit Stadtplan und vielen Infos versorgt. Zwar ist der erste Eindruck der Umgebung nicht überwältigend (Abbruchgelände nebenan, überfüllter Abfall-Container während der ganzen Woche...), aber das Positive überwiegt und wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Great Stay in Arles!!

Merille's place is an oasis minutes from the main attractions of Arles. It feels like a Hobbit cottage with all the character to enhance your visit to an ancient Roman town. Also, Merille is a wonderful host and is very helpful in offering suggestions for making your stay memorable. I should note that the place in quite small and tall/oversiezed people may not be comfortable staying here. You should also be aware that the property is in a gated area which is secure and separate from the adjacent properties which are let's say "Lower Income" but apparently safe. You may feel an initial sence of apprehension (for North American visitors) arriving in the external parking area but all concerns will evaporate once you enter the property. Also, free parking and having a large grocery store minutes away is a big bonus. Staying at Merille's place truly added to our enjoyment of the city...

Arles visit

The apartment was very convenient being just a 10 minute walk from town. It had everything we needed whilst we were there. Our host was charming and helpful in pointing out some of the local sights. There is private parking just outside the apartment gates. We managed to get see all the local and nearby sights on our list. Certainly an ideal place to stop off to be near to the city centre.

Blue Mazet in Arles

Really cute apartment, quite location, very close to the city and the Wednesday market. we are used to having AC so on hot days it can get a bit warm in the apartment, but everything adds up to this being a pretty perfect place to stay. And the host is really amazing and helpful.

Sweet cottage with excellent host

A perfect, peaceful bolthole for two people in a central Provençal setting. Free parking and easy walking access into central Arles. Mireille was super helpful with tips on what to see and how to get there. Can definitely recommend.

Hübsches Häuschen mit guter Lage mit eigenem Parkplatz

Mireille ist eine zuvorkommende und freundliche Gastgeberin, die einen mit allen notwendigen Informationen und Tipps über die Stadt und Umgebung versorgt. Das Häuschen ist liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert, die Betten bequem, nur die Dusche ist für Menschen über 1,85cm wirkliche problematisch niedrig.

Conforme à l’annonce et à nos attentes, parfait pied à terre pour sillonner Arles, la Camargue, les Alpilles… très propre, décoré avec goût et très calme. Idéal après une journée de visites. Avec, petit plus, une cible pour de belles parties de fléchettes ! Un accueil très agréable par Mireille qui est très réactive, notamment en nous trouvant aisément une solution pour garer notre véhicule un peu trop encombrant pour la place prévue. Merci !

Great stay in Arles

Property is very cute and well stocked. Has lots of character. Mireille is very charming and helpful. House is very secure and less than 10 minute walk from the Arena and Theatre. Easy to use as base and drive to Pont du Gard, Les Baux, St Remy, etc.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Eine sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung, in der alles was man braucht vorhanden ist. Die Vermieterin hat uns herzlich empfangen, viele Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben und jederzeit kann man sich mit Fragen oder Wünschen an sie wenden. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub. Sehr empfehlendswert!!

Ferienhaus mit viel Ambiente

Wir sind sehr freundlich von der Gastgeberin begrüßt und mit sehr guten Tipps für den Aufenthalt versorgt worden. Wir haben uns auf dem Grundstück sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere Fahrräder konnten sicher auf der Terrasse stehen und wir haben viele Radtouren unproblematisch von dort starten können. Gut war auch die Nähe zum Supermarkt und zur Altstadt. Viele gute Restaurants sind zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Auch das Auschecken war sehr einfach.
