Beautiful beautiful spot to stay. Harold is a gem. Everything about this spot is relaxation. We can’t say enough about our stay. We loved it.

Harold’s home is incredibly beautiful. Located in a bird preserve, the views onto the bay are calming. Great blue herons and a bald eagle visited daily. The room was spacious, very comfortable and quiet. Harold himself was helpful and friendly. We felt right at home. There is equipment and basic spices to cook. Restaurants are a few minutes away. Harold had highlighted, wonderful hikes nearby. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at The Lagoon Suite! The room was exactly as advertised and Harold met us upon arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. The view was amazing for a peaceful and relaxing stay and the jet tub was the icing on the cake. Whether sitting in the tub during the day watching the wildlife or at night listening to the frogs it was a tranquil experience. We would highly recommend and will definitely return for another stay.

What a delightful and calming stay! Inn the Estuary is absolutely gorgeous, with so much wildlife and excellent views right outside your patio. Harold was such a kind and attentive host, and even offered to fill our tire for us when he noticed it was flat! Clean, quiet, and so close to anywhere you’d want to explore! 10/10 experience!

Beautiful property. Check in was so simple - code sent ahead of time and all seamless. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was well equipped for all we needed - breakfasts, lunches etc. Everything was fabulous - and the host was right there if we’d needed anything. We’re hoping we’re lucky enough to come back!

This accommodation was the nicest place we have ever experienced. Extreme quality in every category. You are immersed into nature and every detail of this place is first class. Spectacular Wildlife Santuary

My wife and I spent 2 outstanding days at the Lagoon Suite at the Inn the Estuary in Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island, B.C. The self contained suite,with all of the amenities of a 5 star hotel, was absolutely spectacular with floor to ceiling panoramic views of the wildlife estuary lagoon. Awesome hosts, great stay and we definitely will be back!

What a rare find. The Inn is located in a secure and quiet estuary, and it’s not to be missed. We were surrounded by nature in a wonderfully decorated suite. We saw eagles, bats, beavers and so many birds… Harold is a wonderful host. Can’t wait to go back!
