Location was awesome, so many amazing restaurants like 1926, your pals, first coast, ryes pub and Haymarket tavern! It was steps away bus and train routes. Ty Paul, we enjoyed ourselves immensely! We had no issues at all and highly recommend this unit!

Great accommodation in Edinburgh

We had a great stay. The location was easy to get downtown or to the airport with the tram very close. The apartment had everything we needed. Thanks!

Great stay!

We had a fantastic experience in this apartment. The host was very communicative and provided all the information we needed for a great stay. The apt is a great size and has comfortable, clean, and modern furnishings. Although @ a 30 min walk to the central area, the tram stop is literally next door and was so easy! We would definitely stay again.

Lovely Apartment

While the hallway had us concerned about the apartment, once inside it was nice and cozy. It was within walking distance to the coffee shops. The bus stop was also nearby. Bedrooms were small, but beds were super comfy. The train was nearby, but did not disturb our sleep at all. Host was responsive and overall we enjoyed the stay.

Communication with property owner was not good. The apartment was not properly cleaned when we arrived, the toilet did not work, and the shower leaked so bad from the tank that barely any water was coming from the shower head. We notified VRBO and was told to book another location for the visit which we did.
Under shower was mold and dirty. a covering was placed in front of the shower hiding dirt & mold.
a yellow sticky mold was covering the wood molding in the corner of the shower and the wood was rotting
Surfaces were covered with dust and sticky
metal frame around tub was rusting and dirty

We are disappointed by this review, particularly as we acted immediately and professionally throughout the situation. As soon as the guest reported a concern with the toilet, a plumber was arranged without delay and attended the property while the guests were still present. The apartment also has two separate bathrooms available for guest use. The shower mentioned was fully operational, although one guest advised they were not satisfied with the style/type of shower system. At no stage were we given a fair opportunity to fully resolve or investigate the concerns before the guests decided to leave the property following discussions within their group. Despite this, and although the booking terms did not justify it, we agreed as a gesture of goodwill to cancel the reservation and provide a full refund. It is therefore very disappointing to receive such a negative review after a full refund was granted and immediate assistance was provided throughout. The apartment had been professionally cleaned and inspected prior to arrival, and we always make every effort to resolve any guest concerns as quickly as possible.

Basic accommodation

Flat was clean but needs updating (carpet, paint and kitchen ware). WiFi was not available when we arrived but we contacted owner and he did get that sorted shortly. Only one small roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. Luckily a co-op store was nearby. No hot water for washing dishes; a used sponge and damp dishcloth left on kitchen sink. On site parking was a plus.

Edinburgh stay

Our flat we stayed in in Edinburgh was perfect for what we needed. When we got there we had a question about the couch bed and contacted Paul. He responded promptly which was convenient as we had gotten there late at night and were eager to get to bed. The flat was clean and had everything we needed. The location was nice but not close to the royal mile. I don't think they advertised it as close so that's not a complaint. I think it took us about 30-40 minutes to walk to the royal mile. The drive from the airport wasn't long at all. I would recommend this flat and would stay here again. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Autos hört man gar keine, da in ruhiger Wohnstraße.

Good apartment

The apartment is right next to Haymarket station which is really handy but you can hear the trains going past. The flat itself is clean and has all the amenities and the beds were really comfortable. It could do with abit of TLC in places but overall it is a good flat in a good location and the option of free parking is great. It took us about 15mins to get to Princes street and there was a handy coop just at the end of the road. The area near the flat is vibrant with a number of nice looking restaurants and bars. Communication with the owner was great.

Perfect getaway location

Paul was easy to communicate with and responded to a couple of questions which I had during my stay within 24 hours. Location was a bit off the beaten path, however, the location was easy for us to walk to the Co-op for grocery supplies, bus transport was also just a short walk. Quiet and pleasant complex. The basic supplies necessary for making meals were supplied, Beds were comfortable. Spacious enough for our group of 4. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus. I will see if the property is available next time I am visiting Edinburgh.
