The villa is in a fantastic area really close to Grasse but still in a lovely quiet village. The check in with Esther was thorough although we prefer to look around the villa by ourselves. The layout of the bedrooms is quirky but suited us perfectly. The Kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed. The pool is superb and a wonderful area to relax and cool off. The drive is steep but we were told about it and were prepared. We had a large people carrier which was perhaps not the easiest to manage but we soon mastered the driveway. The village and surrounding area has lots of lovely restaurants and every meal we had was delicious. The supermarkets are close and have a brilliant selection of fresh meats for the BBQ. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend.

Family holiday 2024

Linda's villa was just perfect for our family stay in the South, pool and facilities excellent. 9 of us (all adults) in all, the accommodation worked well giving space if needed. The views stunning. Location great with Cannes, Antibes, and all places within reach. Many local restaurants and supermarkets close-by, and further afield should you wish. We would definitely recommend and would return if available.

Stylish retreat in lovely surroundings!

This was our first visit to Cote d’Azur, however not the last! We completely fell in love with this stylish yet quirky property in a wonderful and tranquil settings. Indoariska it had lovely rooms with nice and fresh bathrooms. A kitchen with all Thatcher you need, and lovely sittning room for nice games nights. The outside with all these nice seating areas, and of course the lovely pool! What not to Love?! We had the most lovely stay, help from our hostess and would like to comeback back again one day!

Stunning views and total relaxation

An amazing villa in a great location. As other reviews have mentioned this is a resort in itself with an impressive infinity pool set into a lovely olive grove landscape across several levels. The views all the way down to the coastline are amazing. Large rooms all with great bathrooms and a really well furnished living space. Good outdoor areas to eat and spend time together. Local Cafe de L'union is great and the delightful Cabris is within a 25 min or so walking distance too. The driveway is steep - bit of care needed but once mastered no problem.

Lovely week in August

An amazing property in a truly stunning setting. The house was well equipped and beautifully furnished to an exceptional standard from the living area, through to the bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. The views and hillside setting were amazing: split level nature of the house, the various balconies (for breakfast, dinner, and later afternoon sun), lovely infinity pool and a multitude of varied outdoor seating areas in sun or shade as required. The sun shades by the pool were "like new" (a first for a Homeaway rental for us), and the BBQ was spotlessly clean on arrival. Beatrice (the housekeeper) was super - very professional and accommodating, meeting us in a nearby village on arrival to guide us to the house. We enjoyed nearby Cabris for morning coffee, and a good choice of outside dining options. Speracedes itself was comfortably walkable but very small. The steep drive down to the house was quite difficult (although do-able) for a large 7 seater, and possibly not for the feint hearted. Overall an amazing house, furnished and fitted beautifully in a spectacular setting.

Absolute wonderful villa

We were 10 grown ups spending week 29, 2023, in this villa. Everything was just perfect. We found it even better than on the pictures at the booking-www. The villa was easily big enough for all of us. Both the interior and the exterior was charming and cozy. There were plenty of possibilities for seating in groups and for different activities. Everything we needed of kitchen equipment etc. was there. The beds were very good. So were the bathrooms. The location is fantastic. The view amazing. Mrs. Linda has been very kind and accommodating. So has Esther, the housekeeper. She was very kind and helpful. The times we send her an SMS with a question, she answered immediately. If we should wish one single thing, it should be AC in the bedrooms, but it wasn´t a problem. There were fans, and that was okay. We want to give Mrs Linda, Esther, the villa, the location and everything connected with it our absolutely best recommendations. We just loved our stay there and we would really like to come back.

Breathtaking View

Well where to i start about this fantastic property. If you are looking for a break somewhere that is private, gorgeous, quiet and that has spectacular views this is the place for you. The house has the most break taking view which can be found from every room in the house at anytime of the day. The pool area is perfect for hanging out or simply relaxing and is the perfect size if there is a large group. I would also say that the owner has thought of everything including plug sockets outside on the decking an by the pool which are really handy for taking your electronics around. There is heaps of space in all the rooms and the living room boasts the most impressive fireplace and has a really homely feel about it. In terms of the bedrooms, the master suite has an enormous bathroom and a terrace area that cannot be beaten. I could talk about the excellence of this property all day as the pictures do not do it justice even though the pictures are even incredible. I would like to add the owner was exactly what you want when your renting a property, she was helpful, always available and very understanding. I would jus like to say anyone thinking of staying in the area book this fabulous home as you wont be disappointed. Oliver

Great house, pool and surroundings

We spend week 28 on 2023 in La Katorox and enjoyed every second. We were a party of 10 counting 8 adults and 2 kids. A few days before we left for France Esther contacted us to make sure everything was going as planned and to arrange for us to meet at the house. Upon arrival Esther showed us around and told about the house and surrounding areas including the town of Spéracèdes. We were told that the parking space by the house was suitable for two cars only. We had three normal sized cars and managed to fit them in without any problems. The location and views from the house is spectacular and a perfect base for relaxing after exploring Cannes, Nice and Monaco - the nature reserve is just a few kilometers away and worth a visit. As we are a family that loves food it absolutely amazing to go to the local Intermarché for groceries and then fill up the tiny kitchen with eager cooks. The gas barbecue was big enough to be able to prepare food for all of us with no problem and the view from the outdoor dining area made the food and wine taste even better. During the day the lounge area by the pool was used for reading, playing games and relaxing. The pool itself was a lifesaver as it was quite hot during our stay and a welcoming place to cool down. Pleasant Holiday in Spéracèdes

My family stayed at this fine villa in Spéracèdes for two weeks in Mid June 2021. It was a great time and everything was as advertised. There is not much to really add to the other commenters. The general area is nice and there is plenty to do. However it is at least an hour commitment each way to go to the beaches of the famed Riviera. With small children we only ventured out of the local area a few times which was not a big deal. The villa alone is essentially a private resort. The infinity pool with a incredible view, the multiple terraces each with unique views and the overall ambiance of the house made for a pleasurable stay. The owner has good taste in art and I enjoyed viewing her pieces. I can only imagine what she has at her primary residence. If cooking is not something you want to do on holiday, Cafe Union, within walking distance. is an excellent little cafe with good food, friendly staff and excellent views from the terrace dining area. There are also excellent restaurants in nearby Cabris, an entertaining ten minute drive from the villa. For those who want to cook, the local market across from Cafe Union has most of what you will need. There are larger stores in Tignet that will have everything else you might need. Overall, I recommend. And actions speak louder than words. I rarely do repeats since I enjoy new experiences here in the old world, I have re-booked for mid June 2022. The first half of June I reserved a villa within walking distance of the beach in Saint Tropez and then will finish off June in Speracedes. I think this is a the way to go for those who enjoy the sea, the energy of the Riviera and also want to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a villa in a mountainous town. And have the time and resources for an extended holiday. Two weeks enjoying the sea and then head up to Speracedes for a more relaxed holiday in a private resort. This is the good life. Die Lage ist super. Die Aussicht von Terrasse und Pool haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten in größeren Gruppen zu sitzen und trotzdem hatte man jederzeit die Möglichkeit sich in einen der anderen Bereiche zurückzuziehen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und der Grillbereich ist Top. Die Schlafräume sind auch sehr gut ausgestattet was aber fehlt ist eine Klimaanlage da es während unseres Aufenthalts täglich Temperaturen über 30 Grad gab und man nachts aufgrund der Hitze kaum schlafen konnte. Es gibt Ventilatoren in jedem Schlafzimmer. Auf der Terrasse gab es einen zweiten Kühlschrank.

Breath-taking views

We were met by the very friendly Esther who showed us around the house. Esther is also very good at getting you taxis should you wish to travel further afield and not drive. The house is not for anybody with mobility issues as it is on three levels. But good to get your steps in! The house itself has large bedrooms with comfortable beds, lovely en-suites and a large living room, hardly used while we were there as the outdoor sitting areas were plentiful. The kitchen is well equipped but a little on the small side as we are used to several chefs in the kitchen with onlookers drinking wine and talking loudly! We walked most days to the hotel in the central village and ate our croissants and pan au chocolate (ordered each day from little shop beside the hotel) with lots of their coffee. Well worth visiting for lunch and diner. All in all a very relaxing time was had by all. The best feature is the pool, Devine, refreshing with panoramic views. What’s not to love. Thank you for sharing your most charming house.

Vi havde en skøn ferie i et dejligt hus i gode materialer med en skøn pool med udsigt. Eneste minus var manglende aircondition og mange myg, så vi havde svært ved at holde temperaturen nede indendørs, da vi ikke kunne lufte ud. Man skal turde køre på smalle bjergveje og ned af en meget stejl indkørsel. Gode indkøbsmuligheder.

Great Location, House and Owner

It was with high hopes and expectations we rented the villa in Spéracèdes. And we are happy to say that our expectations were fulfilled. The area is well known to the group and a clear favorite in the Alpes-Maritimes. The fact that the house is in walking distance to Spéracèdes square and the small shops is a clear advantage. The house is really nice. The out lay is fine with five good bedrooms and four nice bathrooms. The kitchen is small and a few upgrades on pots and pans would not be a luxury. The garden offers several nice spots and it is always possible to find sun and shadow depending on your mood and interest. The pool area is great – nice, cozy and sufficiently big even for a large group of people. The view from the house and the pool area is breathtaking. We warmly recommend this property and Ms. Linda and her French support team are ready to do what they can to make your stay wonderful.

Wir haben uns in Lyndas Haus in Spéraceèdes rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Betreung durch Beatrice und Lynda war sehr freundlich und immer verfügbar. Das Haus ist allen Beschreibungen gerecht geworden, der Pool ist wunderbar und die Aussicht grandios. Die Küche ist für 8 Personen etwas klein, dafür hatten wir ansonsten überall viel Platz zum Entspannen, Essen, Spielen und Ausrruhen. Wir können das Haus rundum empfehlen.

Traumhafte Ferien in Spéracèdes

Wir sind begeistert von diesem Haus in Spéracèdes, wo wir vom 27. Juli bis 3. August 2019 eine wunderschöne Familien-Ferienwoche verbracht haben. Das Haus wurde von Jung und Alt geliebt. Jede Familie hatte sozusagen ihre Etage mit Bad und Dusche und grosszügigen Terrassen. Das zum Haus gehörende Land mit bezaubernden mediterranen Bäumen und Pflanzen, am Tage begleitet vom Gesang der Zykaden, am Abend von demjenigen der Kröte im Seerosenteich, lässt einen eintauchen in diese herrliche Gegend. Die Pétanquebahn wurde von allen Generationen rege genutzt und auch der Pingpong-Tisch hatte es uns angetan. Der Clou aber war der ausserordentlich schöne und gepflegte Pool. Er wurde praktisch von morgens bis abends benutzt. Wir waren alle beeindruckt von der Grosszügigkeit dieses Hauses und der Umgebung. Wir waren neun Personen. Es hatte genügend Liegen und Sonnenschirme, eine Hängematte unter einem schattigen Baum und - es gab genügend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für alle. Da das Wetter während der ganzen Woche angenehm warm war, konnten wir mit Ausnahme des ersten Tages draussen essen, sei es bei der Aussenterrasse des Livingrooms, sei es unten beim Pool, wo der Grill steht. Ganz am Schluss möchten wir uns speziell bei Madame Béatrice bedanken, die so etwas wie eine gute Fee ist. Sie hat uns viele gute Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben und Restaurants empfohlen, und wir konnten sie jederzeit anrufen, wenn wir etwas benötigten. Am Geburtstagsessen in Cabris erschien sie ganz kurz und diskret und brachte unserem Nonno, dessen 80. Geburtstag wir feierten, ein Geschenk. Er war sehr gerührt. Wir auch. Eine grosse Überraschung! Dieses Haus empfehlen wir ohne Einschränkung weiter!

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Lage

Insgesamt haben wir die zwei Wochen im Haus sehr genossen. Insbesondere unsere Kinder haben viel Zeit am Pool verbracht. Der Blick über die Hügel auf Cannes und das Meer ist wunderschön. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, wobei man andererseits etwas laufen oder ggf. mit dem Auto fahren muss, bis man in einem der beiden nächsten Örtchen ist, wo es auch nette Restaurants gibt. Das Haus und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt. Die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet. Man kann einerseits in gut 30min in Cannes oder Antibes am Meer sein oder in die andere Richtung in die Berge fahren, um dort tolle Spaziergänge zu machen oder auch Canyoning. Verbesserungspotential nur in Details: Standardmässig mehr Badehandtücher, Gärtner könnte die Pflanzen schneiden, die am Weg zum Pool wuchern, im schönsten „Eltern“-Schlafzimmer würde im Idealfall auch das beste Bett stehen. Insgesamt ein tolles Feriendomizil für uns.

A gem in beautiful Speracedes

We were 8 college classmates (4 couples) in our 60's who rented this absolutely gorgeous gem in beautiful Speracedes. The description on the website is accurate to the very smallest details including the fresh, fine, pressed white bed linens, to the fully equipped kitchen, utensils, serving dishes, pots, pans etc. The villa is a comfortable home, filled with character, and is so charming. It has a fabulous and clean infinity pool, a hammock under the olive trees and a beautifully terraced garden with herbs and a sprinkling of lavender and other flowering shrubs. The TV provided several English channels including sports channels (ICC cricket World Cup included) and this was such a bonus which we realized when traveling elsewhere in France. The view of the valley from the master bedroom balcony was breathtaking and on the strawberry full moon night, the golden reflection on the ocean with the lights from Cannes, was indescribably so beautiful. Finding the villa on our GPS was not difficult, but contacting Beatrice (the property manager) helped tremendously. She was waiting for us at the intersection in Speracedes and she made the check in process swift and easy. Beatrice was so helpful, pleasant and charming, she even came with us to the nearest supermarket. She also arranged for one of our meals to be catered and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. There is house cleaning mid week and trash is emptied by the house keeper. Linda, the property owner has meticulously taken time to describe EVERYTHING you possibly need to know about the property, the surrounds, restaurants, things to do and see which was extremely helpful. She was easily reachable and responded immediately when contacted. The only little hiccup was that the internet was spotty and not reliable but since we had roaming data capabilities it wasn't that big of a deal. We had an incredibly amazing vacation and thoroughly enjoyed the villa. I would recommend this property in a heartbeat and would love to visit and stay here again someday perhaps with my entire family. Thanks Linda for sharing your beautiful and well maintained home and thanks Beatrice for the warm and friendly welcome and for ALL your help during our week long stay.

Gorgeous Villa with Beautiful Surroundings

The Villa was everything you could want for a trip away for some winter sun! We arrived in darkness, but awoke to a breathtaking view across the valley to the coast as I opened the curtains the next morning. We were lucky enough to be sat for lunch by the pool taking in the panoramic vista in shorts in December! This was coupled with evenings spent sat around the cosy fire in the lounge. What more could you want from a winter holiday! The local area has everything you need and the bakery in the village do great pasteries for breakfast. Cannes and Antibes are only a 40 minute drive away, so we managed to explore along the coastline with some long walks as well. We all had a fabulous time and I will definitely be back to see what Speracedes has to offer in the summer months!

Hello, We bought our villa after visiting the area for more than fifteen years. We live in Surrey and our grown up children live in London.

We have successfully rented our home in the South of France since 2013. Our home in France has been developed with care to detail, with the majority of the building work being completed in 2011. We have enjoyed collecting furnishings over a period of time to create a home from home. We cannot begin to tell you about all the fun and happy times we have had in this area and at our villa with family and friends. It is a very special place - the views will take your breath away!

We find it hard to tear ourselves away, but when we do, we explore the many local villages and markets for shopping or lunch, we take picnics down to the lake and river, or have a day at the beach. We also enjoy walks from the house or further up into the hills of the Var.

It is a pleasure to share our home with you and all it has to offer for your memorable holiday.

The villa is set in the hillside within a olive grove and mature fruit trees. With 180 degrees views - look up to the old village of Cabris and Castle, ahead there are stunning sea views towards the Bay of Cannes and the islands off Cannes, linked by beautiful mountains to the west to see the beautiful Lac Cassien, which is a short drive away.

Although the gated villa is secluded, it is only 500 metres from the typical French village of Speracedes with a cafe bar, hotel and general store selling local vegetables along with other essentials. The village is perfect for a pre morning stroll for coffee.

The infinity pool allows you to enjoy the view from within the pool whilst you swim or sitting on a sun lounger. There are eating areas on the east and west terraces, by the swimming pool and inside the villa. There are also lots of sitting spots around the garden, including two hammocks for that afternoon nap, or with a good book.

The boules court, table tennis, pool games are fun pastimes during your holiday.

As you move onto the evening enjoy the wonderful sunsets, maybe with a sundowner on one of the terraces, before you light up the bbq to enjoy an outside supper maybe by the pool.

The flora and fauna is always changing. We have fireflies in early summer, figs, grapefruit, herb garden, roses, eagles flying above and resident red squirrels. Just wander round the garden and enjoy the private space.

A perfect destination for a holiday, the villa is set between two typical French villages. A large and magnificent Lake close by offers a wide range of water-sports.

The villa is on the Tour de France route with many cycling routes. Its only a short drive from some of the very best places on the Riviera. Stroll along the Croisette in Cannes, where in May the film stars gather for the film festival and a great place to sit at a cafe and people watch. Visit the harbour in Antibes and, for exclusive shopping, visit Monaco, an hour’s drive away. Italy’s Ligurian coast is only one and a half hour’s drive! The day can easily be split between relaxing by the pool and in the garden, then visiting one of the many hill villages, Lake Cassien, or the coast.

At the house you will find plenty of relaxation areas, including two hammocks, high quality wooden sun loungers, picnic equipment, games, books and music to help make your stay comfortable.
