Easy access to the city, great little apartment

Had a great stay, easy to access by metro and train. The tv didn’t work but it didn’t really matter since we were out most of the time. Definitely excellent value

Great apartment 10 minutes from historic center

Luigi is a fantastic host, there were many restaurants, stores and banks within walking distance. A short walk to the metro A line and convenient to all corners of Rome. The room was very comfortable, good size bathroom, clothes washer and even had a dishwasher. Very clean, and a perfect respit from the hustle of Rome. Would definitely stay again when back in Rome.

Very nice

The only complaint we have is that we expected a balcony that we could sit out on and enjoy. The balcony was a very small work station for washing machine and cleaning supplies. The website at VRBO showed a very nice balcony.

Felt good

Honest & friendly host. Great cafe just downstairs and around the corner for an easy espresso first thing in the morning. Very good grocery store nearby. We were able to do laundry which was very convenient. Pizzerias nearby. Travelling with my wife and 5 year old son , we found this place a nice landing into Rome. It’s away from the tourists in a functional neighborhood. Very short walk to the metro that can take you anywhere quickly. I would recommend.

Amazing stay in Rome

We had a wonderful stay here and Luigi was amazing! He answered my questions promptly and with kindness and offered much help when needed. The apartment was decorated beautifully and the bed and pillows were very comfy. Unfortunately the closest metro line was closed during our stay but once we figured out the bus system we had no problems. The location is great and we felt very safe. There is an elevator in the building which was very helpful with all of our luggage. Many great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you’re looking for an affordable place that is not too far from the city centre. I would like to thank Luigi once again for being such an amazing host!!

Nice, convenient place to stay in Rome!

The apartment had everything we needed for our trip to Rome. It was clean and comfortable. The TV didn't work, but that was OK as we were busy doing other things. The apartment is in a neighborhood, so there were no other tourists, which was a great way to get to know the real Rome. (The street is even named after an ancient Roman hero!) There are lots of grocery stores and places to eat with a shopping center close by. We even ventured from the apartment through other neighborhoods to walk the ancient Appian Way - a real treat. We felt we lived there after a couple of days! The Metro stop is about a block away and this made it easy to get into the center of Rome to see all of the sites. The Roma Tuscolana train station is about a 10-minute walk - very convenient for longer train trips (we went to Florence one day). Luigi was very prompt when we had questions and provided lots of helpful information. Thanks so much!

Great location! Helpful and friendly host!

My cousin and I had a wonderful stay at Luigi's flat in early March 2024. Luigi was always very quick to respond to any questions I had before, during, and after our stay at his flat. His friendliness and patience were appreciated. We also greatly appreciated that he was able to accommodate an earlier arrival and later departure from his flat. The flat itself was nicely arranged and decorated with interesting objects which made it feel like we were visiting someone's home (and not a sterile, impersonal vacation rental). It was also very quiet, which we really liked. The neighbourhood is busy and vibrant, close to a major shopping street (via Appia Nuova), an outdoor farmer's market, many great bakeries and cafés. Most importantly (for us), it was close to beautiful Caffarella Park and the much smaller (but still lovely) Villa Lazzaroni park. It is a very short walk to the Furio Camilo station on Metro Linea A & about a 10-minute walk from the Roma-Tuscolana regional train station from which one can transfer to Fiumicino Airport for much less than the Airport Train (and it only takes slightly longer). Many trains running through this train station also stop at Ostiense and Trastervere stations, making it a quick way to get to the west end of town. All in all, the host, the flat and the location are great and I will recommend this flat to friends and plan to stay here in the future. Thanks Luigi and see you again! Die Wohnung bietet alles was man braucht. Sehr gemÃŒtliche Wohnung. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und immer erreichbar. Das LebensmittelgeschÀft und die U-Bahn sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich finde den Preis fÃŒr dieses Angebot bzw. die Wohnung sehr empfehlenswert.

Chouette logement

Nous avons apprécié le logement situé à environ 15 minutes de la gare en métro. Bons restaurants aux alentours, conseils de l'hÎte, petit parc juste à cÎté et super bonne microbrasserie à 10 minutes à pied (Jungle Juice). C'est trÚs agréable d'être à Rome sans être entouré de touristes. Lieu trÚs tranquille et petit balcon privé.

Rome en amoureux

La possibilité de l'arrivée en autonomie nous a enlevé un stress car nous avons eu du retard. Appartement conforme et propre. Luigi a été attentif à nous. Quartier calme et pas cher pour prendre le petit déjeuner et manger le soir. Métro à proximité pour se rendre au centre de Rome ou directement au Vatican mais également possible de tout faire à pied pour découvrir la ville.

L'appartement de Luigi est parfait pour découvrir Rome. Bien placé prÚs du train en provenance de l'aéroport Fuimicino, prÚs du métro pour se rendre au centre historique de Rome. Le quartier est animé avec de nombreux commerces. L'appartement est trÚs bien équipé et calme. Une adresse à recommander !

Location au rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans l'appartement et, franchement, nous ne regrettons pas ! Le propriétaire s'est montré trÚs disponible, l'appartement est trÚs propre et dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin pour profiter sereinement de ses vacances : draps et serviettes, machine à laver, fer et table à repasser, couverts pour la cuisine... La climatisation dans le salon et la chambre permettent de bien se rafraîchir aprÚs une journée de promenade sous une chaleur intense. L'emplacement est parfait : en dehors du centre-ville de Rome, mais trÚs proche de la station de métro Furio Camillo (à deux minutes à pied). Pour ceux qui viennent en voiture, il possible de se garer sur les emplacements à proximité, mais il y a un également un parking couvert ainsi qu'une station service. Pour les courses, nous avons trouvé tout ce qu'il nous fallait chez Meta, via Veturia, à cinq minutes à pied. Si je devais revenir à Rome, je louerai à nouveau chez Luigi. C'était parfait !

Gute Lage

Die Lage ist sehr gut, mit der Metro ist man schnell im Zentrum. Die Wohnung ist sauber und praktikabel, leider aber auch dunkel und der Balkon dient als AbstellflÀche.

Base perfetta per visitare la Città Eterna

Mi figlia e un'amica sono state ospiti in questo appartamento per una settimana e si sono trovate molto bene. Appartamento confortevole, dotato anche di aria condizionata, zona perfetta (tranquilla ma vissuta, non dormitorio), servitissima con i mezzi pubblici -metropolitana- ma anche non lontana dal centro (che volendo Ú raggiungibile anche a piedi). I proprietari di casa sono stati molto corretti, cortesi e gradevoli. Esperienza molto positiva, da ripetere!

Soggiorno fantastico

L'esperienza in questa proprietà Ú andata benissimo. Intorno all'appartamento c'Ú ogni servizio che si vuole. Per non parlare dei servizi all'interno dell'appartamento ! C'Ú tutto il necessario e anche oltre. Davvero un appartamento fantastico. Molto contento di aver soggiornato qui.

We thought it was a good idea to stay in an apartment that was close to the metro and grocery shoppi

Luigi and Carla met us at 11:30.pm at the apartment. He had a driver pick us up which we wanted because the driver would know where to take us. I got a sim card for 30 euros which I hope will last for 15 days. As well the apartment was close to a little mall. Pizza at Alice's was delicious and the gelato store had many flavors. Yum-yum. Giolitti is the oldest gelato shop in Rome. Near the Pantheon. Google maps will tell you how to get there amazing and yummy don't miss it! Rome is a large city and the stops on the Hop on Hop off bus were far apart but an easy way to get an overview of the town.
