Great, clean, and quaint.

Clean, and quaint. Pool was great. Only downside was the hot water takes 10 min, and the walk from the parking could use some lighting. Would stay again.

Says with pool but pool apparently doesnt open until July 1st?

Grass was a little over grown which wasnt a bug issue but would have been nice if it was mowed prior to arrival. Our big issue was that we specifically booked because we wanted a pool. No where in the listing does it say that the pol does not open until July 1st. That was quite a disappointment for my family. We would have definitely booked elsewhere had we known.

Lovely stay!

Loved everything about the property, enjoyed our stay, the sights and nature were amazing, completely thought about buying a home in the neighborhood. Owners were very attentive and answered every question.

Horrible Host

Irina was giving us attitude the minute she saw us, she never smiled and was very unfriendly. When she told me she left us six towels, but I only found four, I right away told my husband, watch, she will accuse us of stealing her towels (which she did). When we just arrived she was very worried that we were not moving our car fast enough, and she kept talking about it. When we turned on the oven the fire alarm went off because there was a dirty pan inside the oven, there was toothpaste smeared over bathroom sink. Though this is 8 occupancy place, she left us 6 pillows (unlike the pictures), and one of the pillows had a decorative scratchy sham, not a normal pillowcase. She left us exactly one garbage bag for 4 night stay. One of the beds had a mattress that kept sinking on one side. At the end she claimed she couldn't wash a stain off one of her sheets, and couldn't wash off a washable marker stain off her patio table - and that she claimed was the worst mess she has ever seen even though she had animals stay by her! (we paid a cleaning fee for the place, so we were not supposed to clean it) She also accused my kids of meddling with a small metal welcome sign outside her property, which was hanging on the fence, and probably fell off when someone opened and closed the gate an extra time. I tool this place for the outdoor activities for my kids, and was not expecting much from the house, but Irina lives on the property and makes the whole experience really uncomfortable.

I regret that we have had misunderstanding. However I realize that such negative review is result of me holding your security deposit. Per your request HomeAway opened the case to review my claims, I  submitted the pictures as proof of damages. They took my side because there is a clear line between leaving place unclean ( which is OK) and leaving permanent damages behind

Rustic small cottages close to Bethal Woods

If your going to Bethal Woods for a show and don’t want to camp this is a good option, So close and easy to get there! Owners are great! Bring a extra blanket as there’s no heat, but fine on hot summer nights. Great for kids, nice clean pool, and play area.
