We love our quiet, peaceful spot. Lewiswood is tucked back near the edge of the property. The rabbits and deer love to run around the front yard. The birds are enjoying the wild blueberries and the blue birds are nesting in their boxes. Sitting outside at night listening to the sounds of nature add to a beautiful ending of the day. No traffic noises. We hope to have a return visit. Loved meeting Buddy. Appreciate the thoughtfulness and excellent care of the Retreat. Super job!!!

We enjoyed having all of you. I love our little place and enjoy sharing it with those who find a natural setting relaxing. The screen porch is good at night as you said to see fire flies and other night creatures. Often our guests see the white tail deer and their young ones. Sorry, you did not see them. We have recently added a washer and dryer and a remodeled shower which makes it easier for our older guests. Thanks for your review. Thanks for your comments. Appreciated your husband’s help. Lewiswood Retreat is rented until next June. The guest may have left some of their food in the cabinet. I took out the food in the fridge that belonged to them. They left for the weekend because you had a prior reservation and did not want me to cancel your reservation. Very thoughtful of them. Yes, I have installed a washer and dryer. They appreciated my doing so. Other quests have wanted them, too. This property is often rented for 2 to 3 months. I am sorry it is not as pretty as it was but when I ask them they said it would be fine. It was more important to have a washer and dryer. I will see what I can do to make it prettier and post the new pictures.

Glad you enjoyed the back porch. Thanks for coming and always happy when things go smoothly. Lightening bugs take me back to childhood. Love our setting where you can see them and other beautiful things like the bunny who stays close by and the deer who come in the yard after dark I see them in the early morning just before dawn breaks. Enjoyed having you and meeting your two furry friends. . Our remodeled shower with the handicap bar was just finished prior to your visit.
