Almost perfect except for minor issues

The house was great, the location good. But several issues: No internet-only got it the last day of our stay, not enough toilet paper, the dining table metal brace fell off while we were not there and my husband had to repair when we got back, and the ironing board cover did not fit so we could not use the ironing board. But the beds and baths were great. Plenty of bedding and dishware.

Great Place!

We were a group of seven; five adults and two children ages 10 and 5. The location of the house was great - easy access to the RMNP entrance and not far from downtown but far enough away to be peaceful. We awoke one morning to 11 elk in the yard, other days we were visited by four elk, 1 deer, and several rabbit and chipmunk sightings. Overall the accommodation was great! We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our time together without being on top of each other.

Mini Holiday

Relaxing getaway…weather was perfect. Accommodations were great except the he pullout bed mattress would not hold air. We made do without it but it would have been a great option to have had. Thanks for a good little getaway!

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Summit. Excellent all around! Couldn't be much closer to the national park entrance.

Lovely Stay in a Beautiful House

RMNP Trip

Great place to stay for our RMNP vacation. We had a visit from about 15 elk including 4 babies one morning, just taking a walk through the neighborhood eating grass.

We loved the location of this property. It is very close to the RMNP entrance. The house is very quiet and peaceful. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax! We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful House in Estes

This house was conveniently located near RMNP and near all Estes attractions. It was well furnished and had plenty of room for the seven of us to stretch out. We especially enjoyed seeing the elk in the yard. I would highly recommend this property!

Estes Vacation

Overall, the property was just as listed, great location, right between Downtown Estes and RMNP. A very clean cabin, with 3 good size bedroom, and an upstairs and downstairs living area. It was perfect or my wife and I, 2 daughters and son-in-law.

Awesome Property!

Wonderful property for a family stay. There were 7 of us and we were quite comfortable. Location is great. Lovely property and decorated nicely. Only a couple of suggestions. More towels and especially wash clothes are needed, otherwise you are washing constantly. Dish clothes and towels needed in kitchen. Master bedroom sheets were ripped.

Great Location

The property is as advertised. It was more than enough space for a family of four for a week. The location was great - not too close or too far from downtown. The best part of the location is that it is only about 3 miles to the entrance of RMNP since that is where we spent most of our time. We were a little concerned about not having AC but the week that we stayed the weather was perfect so we didn't experience any uncomfortable temperatures in the house. On our last night, a herd (40 or so) of elk (cows, calves, young bulls) walked through the back area of the house. It was great to see wildlife so close.

Super nice property with a good location close but not in the heavy traffic areas. Classy furnishings. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home, great location

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, very clean and well-appointed home. The location is great and close to RMNP entrance and downtown Estes Park. As other reviewers commented on, the afternoon sun warms up the living area and we couldn't enjoy the deck in the afternoons, no umbrella for the deck table allowed, so no shade. We would stay here again, but in the fall months.

Great layout and location

The house was very clean and well appointed. We traveled with my parents and our kids. The layout of the house was perfect for our family giving each group a level of the house when it came time for bed. Location was perfect to walk to several fun stores and restaurants. We loved walking to the pond by the rock shop and feeding the ducks. Highly recommend this house.

Great Fall Getaway

Our family lives in a dense urban environment, so getting out into nature to relax is key as we head into winter. This house, it’s location and all of its amenities were perfect for our family of 4 to enjoy. From hiking and climbing through the Rockies, seeing Dino bones in Morrison to watching the herd of elk everyday grazing In the sun, this place is fantastic. We can’t wait to come back and experience other seasons in this lovey getaway.

Estes Park Luxury Home Review

I have stayed in approximately 20 rental homes over the past 10 years. This home was the cleanest and best appointed home. The only drawback is that the afternoon sun heats up the living room to an uncomfortable temperature. There is not much that can be done to alleviate this problem.

Lovely place!

This was a lovely place and the location was perfect especially on Labor Day weekend when the downtown area was extremely crowded. We were close to town but out enough to have peace and quiet. I was in town for my son’s wedding and had my parents and family friend with me. We enjoyed the views from the deck. Even though it is right by the road we heard no noise from traffic. Being able to park in the garage was a fabulous plus! The kitchen and living area was beautifully and tastefully done…enough to remind you of your location without being overdone. Everything was very clean, neat and in excellent condition. It did get warm upstairs as others have mentioned. Our only suggestions would be to put mirrors in the bedrooms and a hook on the bathroom door. I highly recommend staying at this property!

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration
