Escape to Estes Park and revel in the best of both worlds when you make this cozy, mid-century cabin on the river your home away from home. Not only will you enjoy semi-seclusion and mountain views in this four-bedroom rental, but you'll also be close to town as well. One dog is welcome for a small nightly fee.

This home is located four miles from downtown Estes Park with only a few other houses nearby. The Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is less than a mile away for hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and scenic drives. Or head to Estes Lake with your kayak and soak in the serenity. In the winter, you can snowshoe, sled, or cross-country ski. And any time of year, hang out downtown and browse a multitude of shops, pubs, and restaurants.

The interior of this home is bright and welcoming, with knotted pine walls and a bank of windows in the dining/sitting areas, which allow a profusion of light into the space. The living room is cozy, featuring a wood-burning fireplace, comfy furnishings, and a TV with a DVD player. We SO enjoyed our stay! We wished it had been available a little while longer! For me, the cabin was perfect. I wanted a cabin in the mountains. …I did not want a house, a condo or a lodge. & it’s just what I wanted. We did not want for a thing during our stay. It had everything we needed. And that deck! It was huge & had a wondrous view of the river & the mountains. We were surprised that there was no AC, but I understand AC is scarce in Estes Park. However, it rained some every day which kept the temperature down. Our host could not have been nicer, more available or more accommodating. Thank you for the experience.

Believe it or not, it wasn't really necessary up here in years past! The temps seem to keep rising every year, however, so homeowners are starting to make the transition. House was at the end of a very quiet driveway/neighborhood. Ample space for everyone to spread out. Kitchen had plenty of dishes. Plenty of extra linens/towels. The most spectacular part was the huge deck overlooking the river - very peaceful and serene. We experienced two issues while there but both were resolved. Highly recommend this as it is just 1/2 mile from the park gate which made it very convenient.

The cabin was perfect fot our family stay. We had everything we needed. The setting was beautiful with the river running right behind the cabin. The river sounded simply beautiful during the night.
