Great location

We stayed for the weekend of Round Top Antique festival. The location was great with easy access to restaurants and shopping. The beds were super comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and communication with the owner was exceptional!

Lovely House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house. Close to Round Top for the shopping, but nice and quiet in the evening. Very well stocked house. I would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

Another great stay!

This is our 3rd visit to this property and it never disappoints! The house has everything you need, and the host is truly committed to making the stay excellent. The firepit and two porches give great places to relax. Quick drive to roundtop and the growing restaurant scene. We'll be back!

Was a peaceful and relaxing environment.

It was as advertised and more. Really enjoyed the porches and the layout of the house. Was perfect for two couples because of the floor plan and amenities.

Amazing ladies weekend.

Myself and three of my friends spent two nights in this precious home. Wish we could have stayed longer! Close to town, yet quiet and remote. Most comfortable beds, ever! Charming and full of all needed amenities. We will definitely stay again. You won’t regret this booking.

It was amazing I would recommend this place to all. The only thing I can think of is I’m short and was hard to get in big beds, a little stool would help. Beds were comfortable and big. Area was nice and quiet. Both porches were very nice.

Retreat to Round Top

The hubby and I needed a place to stay for a relaxing long weekend. This property was perfect. We always look for a place with a full working kitchen and a long size bed. The house is convenient to Round Top, on a beautiful piece of property and was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Also, our host was so gracious and helpful.

Beautiful farmhouse!!

A perfect weekend getaway from Houston. The experience here is fantastic. Everything you need is right there. The bed is extremely comfortable, with soft sheets. The shower is amazing, and the towels are extra special. We loved the sunsets, the birds, and, just everything. We needed to get away from the city, and this was the perfect place for my husband and I to just be for a couple of days. Thank you, Marie, for everything. Will definitely be back.

Really nice stay for Round Top antiques show!

My friend and I had a great stay for the winter antique show. The property is only about 4 miles from The Big Red Barn and about 5 miles to the Henkel Square area. Communication was frequent and helpful as we were checking in and getting settled. The home was clean and the furnishings were very nice, including the beds which were comfortable and plush. We liked how the floor plan separated the two bedrooms on opposite ends of the house. We also loved that we each had a king bed and our own bathroom. The kitchen is outfitted appropriately with extras like cream and sugar available in the cabinet. Overall, the home was a nice quite retreat after a long day of shopping and we would definitely stay there again.

This is the second time I've stayed at Birdsong and I absolutely love the place. Marie is so sweet and responsive, and the home is very comfortable. The property is beautiful as well, and there's nothing better than watching the sunrise and sunset from the porches. We'll definitely be going back again.

100% Great place.

This was a great place for our party of 4. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms in a beautiful home in a country setting. We were less than ten minutes from all the restaurants and shops. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We will stay here again!

It's truly "Big Time Small" as the saying goes. Being here is a great way for me to connect with nature and with friends and family.
