Partial ocean view was amazing! Pretty quiet location for Waikiki, clean kitchen and comfy beds and the water pressure in shower was great. Also, the balcony was stellar. The AC worked awesome and the free parking was SUCH a value-add (parking normally 50/night elsewhere.) Only reccommendation is having more clothing storage space. There was no dresser or shelves and closet only had hanging space. That said, still a 5 star review because the unit was otherwise great!

So glad the balcony, parking, and all the little details landed well. Free parking in Waikiki really is a rare find! We appreciate the note on storage space and will look into adding some options for future guests. Mahalo for choosing Ali'i Beach Rentals!

Just Ok

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beds were comfortable and the sofa was also. The bathroom could use a major cleaning though. Whoever does their cleaning does not do such a great job.

We appreciate your feedback, and we're sorry the bathroom fell short. That's not acceptable by our standards, and we've addressed it with our cleaning team. Comfortable beds and a clean space should go hand in hand, and we'll make sure the next guests experience both. We hope you'll give us another shot. Mahalo for choosing Ali'i Beach Rentals!

Waikiki Banyan 912 Tower 1 review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, great stay! Party of three and we were fine with the two queen beds. They even had an air mattress that wasn't in the listing (bonus if needed). Arrived after the hurricane . The property was clean (kitchen, beds, bathroom, etc.) however floors needed some freshening. We chalked that up to the perhaps dirt from the storm. Property was very comfortable. The living room furniture was different than the picture (current was a little more "dated" furniture than pictured). Had all the conveniences - really enjoyed the chairs, umbrella and cooler bag. We provided feedback to property management about a few things that needed to be cleaned but it did not impact our stay and they were very appreciative and responsive to the feedback. They checked in on us throughout the stay which was appreciated. We felt if we DID have any issues during out stay, they would've been taken care of. The property is in a great and convenient location. Nice little view of the ocean which was perfect. Pool area was nice and all updated. Parking garage is "interesting". not for large vehicles (which we were told in advance by other reviewers). But the parking is free, just be patient! Overall, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend. Note: in general at the building the elevators can take a long time. This is a building issue, not a property issue. Try to avoid check in and check out times :)
VrboOwnerからの返信 (投稿日 : 2026 年 9 月 24 日)
Thank you for such a fair and thorough review, future guests are going to find it really useful! We're glad our team was responsive when you flagged the cleaning items, and we've passed those along so they get caught on turnover. You're right that the elevator waits come down to the building and are outside our hands, and we appreciate you calling that out. We'll also take another look at the listing photos so the furniture matches what's actually in the unit. Mahalo for choosing Ali'i Beach Rentals!

Great location!

Our rental was great for our family. The location was great! Close to the beach and restaurants. The included parking was a huge plus. Be mindful if you rent a large vehicle the garage has limited spaces and may not have room for that size all the time. We ran into that issue only once but the rest of the time we were able to park in the garage. Would definitely stay there again.

Very old, the balcony was unusable because the AC was leaking water the whole time it was on. The check in process was kind of confusing because it involved going to the room first to get the garage key, coming back down, moving the car to the appropriate spot and then being able to be done with the check in. Not very seamless. The furniture was very old and the beds both creaked on the slightest movement. The location was the only good part.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Took my trip end of August. In general this is a Great place to stay at. Walking distance from the beach and parking is included. A couple of things that need improvement: the property manager takes some time to respond back to msg (at least a full day). They only have one beach chair and no umbrella. nice, but not as nice as the pictures portray.

Nice, but could have been cleaner and some amenities in the kitchen would have been nice. Coffee, tea, creamer, sugar... It's the little things that would make a difference. The main parts of the condo were clean. Bedding, towels, counters were clean, but the corners were full of very old ... hair, bugs and just old ... :-/

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Checking in and out was easy. The unit was as described, except it had a dark green sofa and an old side chair. Beds were clean and comfortable. Everything worked. Property manager provided a new toaster when I said there were none. Bathtub faucet drips, and shower lacks towel racks. Location was excellent; can see part of the ocean and the church. Dripping water from upstairs a/c reduced enjoyment of balcony and wears down cement balcony. The curtains were functional. Everything worked and was clean. One small bar of soap and shampoo not enough even for one person staying for more than a week.

Catfished

I read the reviews and emailed property manager asking if room was as pictured, they replied Yes and eased my concerns however it was not as pictured (very dated), has a weird odor, the flooring trim was detached with exposed grout, the bathroom is very small with poor yellow lighting and it’s the only mirror in the place. our SUV rental was too big to keep in the garage, there’s 4 elevators only 2 work and would take us 15min to get on (I spoke to elevator mechanic and maintenance workers who said everything breaks down because “it’s old”). The refrigerator has complimentary drinks which were expired. I wish I was able to upload the pictures I took, it was one of those “what I ordered versus what I got” moments but for what I paid I was expecting so much more

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We take your feedback seriously and will address the issues regarding the room's condition, and odor with our maintenance team. The date on the complimentary drinks is the date it was packaged. Your input is invaluable in helping us improve our service, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future. Mahalo!
