Fantastic Duplex, Great Location, even better Host!
After having our original AirBnB cancel on us just a few days before arriving, we found this great listing and were extremely lucky it was still available. We were a group of four 30 something guys and it was plenty of space for us all. You enter the quiet and beautiful courtyard to the complex and immediately feel like you are nowhere near the busy streets of Paris. The Duplex is on the top floor (level 3) of the building. There is an elevator as well as stairs that take you right the front door. Upon entering there is an entry/sitting room and 1/2 bath. Stepping into the main floor of the Duplex you enter a large great room with tons of natural light, great seating area, TV, Surround Sound, Dining area and modern full kitchen. Going up the stairs you enter another sitting room that accesses the 3 bedrooms upstairs as well as the full bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a set of bunk beds, a desk and chair. The bunk beds are a US Twin or Single size and fit an adult. Bedroom two has a Queen Bed and a Single Bed along with a desk and chair, Bedroom 3 (the "Master) is very large, has a queen bed, desk/chair, closet, soaking bathtub, and sink/vanity. There is no toilet in the Master. The location of the unit is a block from the Rambuteau Metro Station and Modern Art Museum. There is a phenominal coffee shop a block away as well as bread, cheese, and general grocery shops. Louis the host, communicated very well with us from the moment we booked. He met us as soon as we arrived, gave us a tour of the duplex and even a quick tour of the immediate neighborhood pointing out his favorite local shops. Throughout our stay Louis made restaurant recommendations and checked in via text message to ensure everything was going well. Upon departure, we simply locked up per the instruction sheet and let Louis know we had left. The entire experience was a 10 out of 10 for us after having such a bad turn with our initial reservation on AirBnB. I would highly recommend this duplex for a family or group. There was adequate beds for 7 adults total. Thanks again!
