Villa with a view

The villa is at the very top of the village on a very steep hill! This was my very first time driving abroad and the drive up to the villa scared the life out of me, the roads are narrow and very steep. But it was definitely worth the drive. The villa is perfect it’s well equipped with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an extra bed in the sitting room. It has everything we needed for cooking with a well equipped kitchen and a bbq outside. The pool area is lovely- only down side is there is not much sun in the morning but great for lazy afternoons and the mountain view is idyllic. It’s also incredibly quiet and peaceful. Ojen is a really pretty town with a few bars and restaurants serving drinks and tapas. You can walk to the town square but be prepared for the walk back up the hill!! We drove to Marbella to the supermarket but there are also a couple of convenience stores in ojen. Juan was a great host with great communication and quickly offering help when needed. The villa was clean and clean bedding and towels mid week was lovely. Was a lovely relaxing holiday- many thanks.

Lovely Apartment with Pool

We had a fantastic week’s holiday in Ojen and thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and it’s pool. The apartment had a great view and everything we needed. Ojen had a lot of nice tapas bars in the village square. We look forward to visiting again one day.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our time here. Nice apartment, beautiful view. We used the pool every day. Juan was really helpful and always replied to our messages, solved the problem with internet. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

Gorgeous tranquil apartment

We had a fabulous holiday in Ojén in this gorgeous, spacious, tranquil apartment. It had everything we needed, was very comfortable and we enjoyed lounging by the pool overlooking the mountains. El Tunnel in the village was our favourite restaurant and could buy everything we needed in the local supermarket. However, although it’s quite a short walk back to the apartment it is extremely steep and not easy with shopping bags! Marbella Old Town was well worth the visit. Lots of fantastic places to eat, nice shops and pretty streets to wander with a great atmosphere.

Perfect stay!

Good house and place, but a car is necessary! 10/20 minutes drive to Marbella and all beautiful beaches nearby. We had a wonderful time!

Nous avions déjà réservé cet appartement pour 15 jours en 2016. Tout est toujours aussi agréable. Les équipements ont même évolués (nouvelle télévision et climatisation). Très belle pièce à vivre avec cuisine ouverte toute équipée. Belle terrasse avec grande table pour les repas avec une magnifique vue sur la montagne. Piscine très bien entretenue Les propriétaires sont très agréables, toujours disponibles tout en restant discrets. Marbella est à 10 mn en voiture

Superbe endroit

Appartement magnifique, très bien équipé et fonctionnel. Piscine très agréable de belle dimension. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille avec nos 2 enfants, et tout le monde a vraiment apprécié. Propriétaire toujours joignable sur GSM et disponible en cas de besoin. Proximité de Marbella mais calme et tranquillité d'un village. Bon compromis. A recommander.

Great location, wonderful views, gorgeous apartment

We stayed for 5 days at Juan's place in Spain. This apartment was perfectly set up - clean, all the amenities you need and a beautiful view. Juan was there to greet us when we arrived and was very helpful when we had some questions. The pool and outdoor area were wonderful - we spent many hours relaxing and playing in the pool. Ojen is a pretty little town just 15 minutes away from Marbella. We had an amazing visit. Thank you Juan.

Beautiful villa in the lovely village of Ojen

We have just returned from a 4 night stay in this exquisite villa, with really beautiful views. The villa is of a very high standard and situated at the top of the village. We ate twice in the village at El Tunnel which was very good and very reasonably priced. Although the roads to the villa are very steep we did manage to walk back on both evenings after dining in the village. Car hire is essential if you want to explore the surrounding area, Marbella old town is very pretty and Puerto Banus with its nice beach, yachts and fabulous cocktails at Astral bar are all around a 15 minute drive away. We are very lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here and look forward to returning again in the near future. Thank you Juan.

Brilliant accommodation in a really lovely area

We were very pleased with this accommodation. It was perfect for us and our 3 young children. The apartment was done to a very high specification. All of the furniture and decoration was lovely and it felt like every effort was made to make sure that everything that you needed was there. The village was really lovely. The people were all very friendly and welcoming and it didn't feel too 'touristy'. The pool was lovely and the verandah was really convenient. You could eat outside while the kids played in the pool and it was very relaxing. The roads are quite steep in Ojen, so there was a few tense driving moments (getting used to driving on the right hand side up and down the steep hills). The views were stunning and we would definitely recommend this villa to anyone considering a holiday there.

Flat with pool in Ojen

The flat MONTEVERDE is really beautiful.The owner of the house was always for our telephone calls reachable and did help us whenever we needed him. The description of the house is as like as it is in the advertisement. Maybe better!!! The flat is appropriate for 2 couples although 1 room is "open". It is part of the living room and above the toilette and reachable over a few steps. Should you need entirely privacy, this could disturb you. The enviroment is amazing. Right hand side of the swimming pool, there is nothing but a mountain. Beautiful sunsets are guaranteed. I can doubtlessly recommend the house to anyone who is searching a quiet place to make holidays. Only 15 minutes by car from Marbella, you have all the possibilities to do whatever you want.

formidables vacances

la location est vraiment très bien, il ne manque rien, l'endroit est vraiment calme et reposant et a seulement 10 minutes de Marbella ! Les enfants ont adorée la piscine et nous aussi ! Merci au propriétaire qui était toujours à l'écoute et vraiment très aimable, malgré nos difficultés a communiquer en anglais et espagnol, la connexion internet du logement est un véritable plus. Séjour superbe !

Le "gîte rural" de Juan est un nid perché calme, frais et offrant une vue magnifique sur la mer et la montagne. Quel plaisir de profiter de la chouette piscine privée dans cet environnement ! Par ailleurs, Ojen est un village blanc très agréable. Grand plaisir de déguster tapas et sangria sur la place centrale du village, au milieu des familles espgnoles qui se retrouvent là le soir, près de la fontaine si charmante qui rassemble les enfants. Dix minutes de marche séparent le centre d'Ojen à l'appartement.

Perfecto para vacaciones montaña/mar

Una casa muy bonita, muy limpia y equipada de buena calidad. Hemos disfrutado mucho de nuestra estancia, además con el calor que hubo durante esas días, pudimos disfrutar también de la terraza y de la piscina, ambas con vistas maravillosas. Juan, el proprietario, es muy amable y atento, nos prestó un muy buen servicio. Recomendaríamos la casa a amigos y familiares y esperamos volver nosotros en el futuro. Lovely house, very clean and well equiped to a high standard. We enjoyed our stay very much and the hot weather meant we could enjoy the terrace and pool, both with beautiful views. Juan, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. We would recommend the property to family and friends and hope ourselves to return in the future.

Traumhafte Woche

Lieber Juan, wir danken die auf diesem Wege nochmals für einen traumhaften Urlaub und die wirklich schöne Unterkunft in Ojen. Der Kontakt war mehr als freundlich und ohne Deine selbstlose Hilfe schon am ersten Tag war unsere Urlaubsrettung, nachdem uns am Flughafen die Herausgabe unseres bezahlten Mietwagen verwehrt wurde, wäre der gesamte Urlaub ins Wasser gefallen. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist einzigartig schön mit wunderbarem Ausblick. Es war ruhig und erholsam, der glasklare Pool eine willkommene Erfrischung nach unseren Ausflügen. Ojen selber ist ein schönes weisses Bergdorf mit tollen Restaurants und Lokalen. Die Küche gab fast alles her was man sich nur wünschen konnte. Es war ein toller Ausgangspunkt um die Umgebung zu erkunden, nach Marbella war es fast nur ein Katzensprung mit seinen Stränden, der tollen Altstadt und den unzähligen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Auch weitere Ausflüge zu Stränden und Städten waren von hier aus gut zu bewerkstelligen. Wir haben uns in Deiner geschmackvollen und sauberen Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt und waren sehr traurig, dass wir die zwei Folgewochen in Monda waren. Denken wir an Andalusien dann denken wir zuerst an Dich und die tolle Woche am Pool mit Ausblick. Vielen Dank, wir wünschen Dir weiterhin viele nette Gäste und einen stets vollen Kalender.
