Our group of three really enjoyed the house. It's nicely appointed but comfortable, and it's convenient to the downtown Charleston area. The parking spot was a bit tight for an EV6 (just barely fit), but it was definitely convenient to have a place to park.

Great for a friends getaway!

We enjoyed staying here for a long weekend in Charleston. The house was perfect for three couples, and provided everything that we needed. Location was perfect, walking distance to many great coffee shops, restaurants and shopping on king street. The area guide that Stay Duvet provided was super helpful in identifying restaurant and activity ideas.

Charleston girls trip

We had a wonderful time at this location. There were only 4 of us, if there had been more of us it would have still been comfortable if sharing beds. The location was great and within walking distance to all of our favorite spots. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Would be a great location for singles or those traveling without children. Rowdy neighbors, paper-thin walls but decent overall location.

Charleston visit

The place was awesome with plenty of room for all of us! Charleston can be really loud at night so if you are a light sleeper might not be the best location. The property is a great location to walk to just about anything and that made things super fun!

Great location, large enough for 6 Adults

While the location of this property is great, the off street parking is only meant for a small SUV or car. Could use some light maintenance and a little better cleaning inside and out, but otherwise I would recommend this site or stay again.

Charleston Cutie

We came to Charleston for a Thanksgiving get away. This place was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was walkable to Kings Street a major Tavern and shopping area. We rented a car and get a smaller car since the driveway is very narrow if you rent this location. We loved the place and would be happy to return there.

Great for our family get-together

Plenty of room for all of us. Property management team was responsive. Great location but neighborhood was a little rundown. Wasn't really noisy even though close to King Street. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. 4.5 stars!

First time visit to Charlston

This was my family's first visit to Charleston and we will certainly be back! We were touring Collage of Charleston and found the location of the house perfect to walk to campus and shops on King Street and the Market area. Proximity to restaurants, shops , etc was so good that we parked our car when we checked in and never had to use it as we walked everywhere we needed to go! Another bonus was a quant coffee shop right across the street. The house had all the amenities we needed and the commutation with the host was so easy.

Property is as advertised and in a great area of town. Communication with management was easy. Highly recommended. There are comments around the tight parking spot. This is very accurate. I'd say a RAV-4 is the largest car that can fit in the spot. Street parking is doable but you need to move the car every 2 hours and this is 24/7. We saw parking enforcement at all hours. Area is busy and can get loud. Walls and windows are thin in the house so you hear it all, but I never felt the house was overly noisey.

Girls get away

Would have been helpful to know about the wander option to store our bags until check in prior to seeing info on fridge. Shower door in master bath does not close all the way. Would be nice to have kitchen towels. Overall was clean and perfect size for 5 of us. We enjoyed our stay.

Best Xmas vacation ever!

The description of the property were pretty accurate. Parking space is very tight but you can park on the street without any issues. We parked our pick up truck on side way and didn’t have any problems. The house is actually bigger than what you can see in the pictures. It was super clean and very comfortable. There were a couple of thing going on during our stay such as construction next door and in the home in front. Although they worked during normal hours the noise was kind of annoying at times. Hopefully they will be over soon...!! Also, the only thing that we had issues with was the TVs. The TV downstairs did not work at all. The TV on the master bedroom did not have cable only Roku tv so we were not able to access any cable channels without having to sign up into the cable service. However, other than the above mentioned issues the house was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay!! I will give it 10 stars if possible!

Great layout for a group

This home is inviting from the outside and well decorated inside. We all loved nearly everything about this property. I will say the check in and out process was different that any other property I've stayed out. I never received instructions, but I called the property manager and he texted the key code and check out instructions right away. I wish I'd known about recycling prior to check out. This was THE BEST set up kitchen I've ever had! There was a full assortment of glassware, plenty of knives, kitchen tools, and even odd items like a waffle iron and a French press for coffee. Wow! Even the pots and pans were very nice. Oh, and several baskets of board games. The floor plan is open down stairs which gave all 5 of us plenty of room to space out. The location was a short drive to the campus, historic district and only about 25 minutes to Folly Beach area. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance and a few bars. There is also laundry on site which was another great plus. I have an SUV, so we had to park on the street because the driveway is very narrow. The street is also narrow, so park on the street at your own risk. My son's car was sideswiped while there. Overall, we really enjoyed this property and it more than met our needs for our short trip to Charleston.

Not for those with Allergies or Sensitive to Smells

This property is located great for exploring Charleston. Check in and Parking was easy. The home is beautiful and well decorated and the kitchen well stocked. Would have been a great stay save for 2 huge issues. Whatever cleaning product is used leaves a very strong scent that actually caused 2 of our guests to get sick with some allergies. One of the three bedrooms was not even used as the smell was so strong the person sleeping there got up after 2 hours the first night and relocated. StayDuvet, please check in to this so others do not have this horrible experience. The other issue was the lack of curtains that would actually black out the very bright security light on the building next door. It was impossible to get the bedrooms dark at night. So if you have allergies or lung conditions, this is not your place. Otherwise, it is really a cute house in a good neighborhood.
