Perfect getaway with family

The hosts were very helpful throughout our trip. They were responsive to requests before the trip and questions while we were in the unit. The property had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend and the beach was easily accessible.

Great beach place!

We enjoyed this property. So many great aspects from the ease of working with Suzanne, the location (across from beach with Ocean view, and the comfort of the condo. Would stay again when visiting SGI!

The perfect honeymoon getaway

My husband and I came to SGI for our honeymoon and this was the perfect spot! It was very clean and steps away from the beach. We hope to come back for many anniversaries to come!

Family Vacation

This place was absolutely perfect for a small family!!! The island is perfect for people who just want to enjoy the beach and each others company without all the touristy things to distract you. We will definitely be back!!!!

Family Vacation

We stayed a week in this wonderful condo. Condo was very clean and a perfect location!!! Just a very short walk to the beach, and short drive to all the restaurants and shops. We are booking the same condo for next year!!

Excellent vacation place

We were very happy with our stay here! Everything about the condo met our needs. I found it because I was looking for a pet friendly place so we could bring our dog. It was also in a very good location.

Great location and clean!

We enjoyed our short stay basically right on the beach. Was very convenient and so clean! The unit is actually much nicer in person than pictured!

Great location!

Location is great - easy walk to the beach! Near restaurants, the cutest donut shop, and the ice cream shop! Accommodations are perfect for a small family. Of note, washer / dryer are not on the unit.

Perfection!

*so clean *Short walk across the street to the beach *pool was refreshing *quick response and resolution I had about the TV (I’m not familiar with their platform) then it was easy to navigate *we will be saving this listing for a stay in the future for sure!

Great Rental

The space is cozy and clean. Plenty of room for our family. You can’t beat the view and the proximity of the rental to the beach. Communication was always great with owners. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Great Place in the Sun

Everything about this place was perfect. Great view of the ocean right across the street. Well stocked kitchen tools, cookware, & fridge w ice maker. Comfy bed and pet friendly. Super nice owners as well. We can’t wait to come back.

Highly recommend

We would highly recommend A Place in the Sun. The unit is clean, comfortable, well decorated and in a great location. Check in and communication with the owners was easy. Even on rainy days the place was bright and inviting. Especially enjoyed reading on the deck when the sun was out.

Such a nice “place in the sun” it had everything we needed for our trip. Check in was easy. Owners were ready and willing to accommodate! Bathroom could be updated, but it was not a huge deal considering we were never inside. We love the area and will be back soon! Thanks!

Relaxing Vacation

Zero surprises. Pictures were an accurate depiction. Loved sitting on front balcony in the mornings and watching the sun rise and enjoyed the breeze and scenery in the evenings. Good pool area. Pool wasn't big but sufficient. We brought an umbrella with us to pool area to use on that table by the pool which made it more comfortable in the sun. Location was excellent. Beach access was directly across from unit and beach was very close. The beach wasn't crowded at all. About a mile away from downtown (completely walkable or bikable) and about a 3.5 mile bike ride to entrance of state park. Would love to come back

Such a cute little place to stay with family & friends! We had all we needed and enjoyed the easy walk to the beach, store fronts and restaurants. Loved the area and low key atmosphere. Definitely on our return list!

Wonderful pet-friendly stay at A Place In The Sun!

My friend and I brought our two pups to this Vrbo and it was wonderful. Nicely outfitted accommodations, close to the beach, with a communal pool. The delightful hosts were staying next door and were very helpful and friendly. St George Island is the best!!
