Affordable 2 bed, 1.5 bath Beach views. Hot tub, Pet friendly, fenced back yard.

2 bedroom, 1.5 bath single level beach view and pet friendly house that sleeps 6 comfortably. Less than 200 steps from the beach. Come relax at this cute open floor plan and see what The Sea Shed has to offer.
Recent upgrades that offer a fully stocked open kitchen area with island seating for 2. Also a nice dinning table for 4 to eat dinner or play cards. The kitchen/dinning flows into the living room that offers plenty of seating for watching tv or just relaxing. Bring some movies or choose from the selection; basic satellite provided by Dish Network and Mediacom high speed internet. Sliding glass door opens up to the large deck where you can relax in the hot tub and listen to the waves; with wonderful views of the beach.
One king bedroom with memory foam mattress. Other bedroom has a pillowtop king bed. Both bedrooms have a tv. All 3 are smart TVs so you can log in to streaming services also. There is a queen sleeper sofa in living room. Pull down shades or blackout curtains on all windows allow for privacy or block out morning sunrise if you want to sleep in. Large full bath with tub/shower combo. The half bath room has a stacked washer-dryer and plenty of storage.
Outside there is a fenced in back yard for your dog to run and play, a shower to rinse all the beach sand off, fish cleaning station and a grill for cooking your catch of the day.
No Smoking please.
If bringing a pet, please be familiar with the County Leash Laws. We are a pet friendly home but please review house pet rules. Please message owner with any questions.

Loved the location

Our visit to the Sea Shed was at first disappointing due to the cleanliness of the home. I contacted the owner who responded immediately and she contacted the cleaning company to ensure no future guest have to clean the house themselves upon arriving. The beds are super comfortable and linens were all fresh. The available dog crate was appreciated as it saved room in our car. The kitchen was well appointed

Great visit

The property was exactly as advertised. We liked the house and its location. The kitchen was fully equipped for us to cook meals there. The beds were comfortable, and the AC worked great. We would stay here again!

Beautiful quiet and peaceful place

We had a great stay. We found lots of needed supplies for making our own food. The beds were so comfortable. There was no noise, it was quiet and peaceful. The beach was beautiful and not far at all from the house- an easy walk or drive. We loved it!

St. George Island

St. George Island is a beautiful place to stay for a refreshing get-away. The house met all of our needs and the views were very nice. The dogs loved the fenced in backyard and so did we! It made our stay with our fur babies much easier! We will be back!

Stay at Sea Shed

Overall we were happy with the location and communication with property manager. We appreciated her being dog friendly and even providing a crate on site. The location was excellent and near beach and island restaurants. We did have a few suggestions for improvements from our stay: deck had many loose boards, flooring dipped and seemed structurally unstable, there was a large rock that we tripped on many times by backyard gate, hose is broken in spots impacting strength of water pressure, lighting at night was lacking around exterior of property.

Property was fine for a short stay. Fenced in yard and deck was good for our dog to be outside. Appliances worked fine. Sliding glass door going out to the deck needs to be more secure, did not lock properly, did not feel safe with that.

Days of Zen and Rosie

Our happy place is the beach and my husband and I needed to recenter after the holidays. Sea Shed met all of our needs, specifically we could bring our lab mix with us! The fenced in back area was great and the host even has an XL crate! Mia has thought of everything you could possibly need and this was probably the most well equipped kitchens of all our VRBO stays. And the beach is just a few sandy steps away. Would certainly book Sea Shed again and would recommend this property, especially for those with pets. Rosie gives two paws up!

A nicecplace for a small group

My son and I had a very pleasant stay here. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short break. Although not beachfront the beach is just a short walk away.

My family and I are south Georgians that have been vacationing on SGI for 20+ years before buying our little piece of heaven. We decided to host the property so that others can make wonderful memories just like us.

This property is centrally located from town center and the State park on the East end of the island. The large deck has great views of the beach and those great breezy night sunsets. But you can also walk to 10th street and there is a public bay access for fishing, paddle boarding or kayaking. Plus you can use a golf cart.
