We very much enjoyed our stay at the Liberty Blue apartment on Liberty Street in Savannah.
The property's location is excellent, with easy walking access to Jones Street, River Street, several historical houses for tour, and the Telfair Museums.
The living room in this apartment is outstanding -- it is large, with natural light and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated, and provide the expected amenities with a tasteful design. Both bedrooms are comfortable, although the smaller of the two is not well endowed with storage.
It should be noted that, in order to access this apartment unit, guests must ascend (and then descend) two long, steep interior staircases, together with a shorter external staircase that ascends from the parking lot to the entryway. On arrival and departure, you will presumably need to accomplish this with heavy pieces of luggage. If one is reasonably fit and determined, these endeavors should not pose a problem, but if you expect and depend on the convenience of hotel elevators, this may not be the property for you. Similarly, the unit is inappropriate for those who have mobility challenges.
