Nice, pet friendly property. An EF2 tornado had touched down approximately 3 miles from the property about an hour before we arrived. There was a lot of storm debris on the property our entire stay, but this was no fault of the owner. We did quite a bit of antiquing in the area and enjoyed our stay.

This is a very cozy cabin with a bit of a quirky layout. It was so super cute and very inviting. We used it as a middle location between Gettysburg and Lancaster, so we could make day trips to those locations. It worked perfectly. Was very private and secluded. Would definitely recommend this cabin for a quiet calm get away!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was peaceful, clean and somewhat private- exactly what we were looking for. The bed was very comfortable and well maintained, and we really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.

Getting to the property could be a challenge for senior renters. Getting our luggage across the bridge and up the hill was a little challenging but thankfully we had no incidents. I loved the quietness and quaintness of the property. Great place to rest and relax. It is pet friendly and this was great for us to take our fur baby along on our adventures. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we came back to this area.

Honestly I hate to leave a review for fear it will be so popular it won't be available when I want to come back. It is amazing. So quiet, peaceful, and relaxing.I had a couple Uber drivers that didn't live far away that had no idea this place existed and we're looking it up for themselves. LolIf you need quiet and restoration this is the place for you.

This cabin was beautiful and the perfect location to relax, birdwatch, roast marshmallows, watch ducks swimming by as you sit on the porch. We brought our two pups and they loved it. I can’t recommend this property enough. We will definitely be back.

It was awesome staying on this property. A few things to note, the cabin has no window coverings. The bedroom has sliding glass doors with no curtains or blinds which made my wife a little uneasy. Coming from out of town and not knowing the area gives a slight sense of insecurity. Next, the steps leading to the cabin are somewhat dangerous. The bricks before the steps are uneven. The steps themselves are constructed in a manner that makes them a tripping hazard. It rained a bit during our stay and the wooden edges would get a bit slippery. Next, the cabin door relys on a combination lock for the deadbolt. Once it was locked when leaving, you could open it without using a combination. Maybe there is a trick to locking it but we weren’t aware of it. Next, we did not have any pets but we had dog or cat hair on our socks and clothes. A little better housekeeping? The cabin and its surroundings are amazing and we had a wonderful time. Except for the steps, theses are minor things that could be addressed. The steps should be of concern. Thank you.

Lovely cabin in a quiet location. Our third time there and we will be back at some point. Cabin thoughtfully outfitted with everything needed and then some. Comfy and cosy.

Cozy, wonderful cabin. Very clean throughout. My wife and I loved cuddling on the couch in the great room in front of the fireplace. Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus. There is a local trail for outdoor enthusiasts. Plenty of space to walk our dog. The bed was very comfortable. Sitting on the front porch in the morning with my coffee looking at the creek, taking all the sights/sounds in was extraordinary. My wife and I definitely want to return!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

This quaint boating community is one of the few navigable areas along the Susquehanna River. We purchased this secluded cabin because of its central location; only 35 minutes from Hershey, 20 minutes from Lancaster & York and less then an hour from Baltimore, with all the conveniences of shopping, dining and entertainment.
