Good property, great location!
The title says it all! The property is really good, there are a lot of stairs but it’s so you can get amazing views from every room and the pool! There may have been one or two dead grasshoppers near the doors but they were easy enough to sweep up. The views from the master are gorgeous, the bed was okay but if you have room in your suitcase you might wanna pack your own pillow. It would have been nice to have a little notebook explaining the property. For instance it’s no big deal that the electric starters didn’t light the stove top but at least tell me I need to use the lighter in the drawer.
The location is perfect! It’s 15-20 min from Sunset restaurant and beach club, Pasillo Londres (go eat breakfast/lunch here, you won’t be disappointed) and 1 min to the beach.
If you can arrive during the day it’s probably easier so you don’t have to coordinate an after hours key pickup. If you’re driving from Hermosillo, the cell reception isn’t great between there and San Carlos. The property management company wasn’t the best at communicating. It was frustrating when it came to simple things like mentioning that people were coming to clean the pool in the middle of our stay. Why Vive Real Estate didn’t let us know or offer to re-schedule that service is beyond me. Also when the house water was cutoff on the 2nd to last day of our stay. Instead of being concerned or offering support to come diagnose what was going on they just suggested we had used too much water and that we pay for a service to come refill the tanks. Overall 4 outta 5 stars ain’t bad but if I could recommend changing property management companies to the owners I definitely would.
