Overall was pretty good, there was an issue with the hot water but that was quickly resolved. The host was very responsive.

Great place to stay and relax

My family was in town to say goodbye to Nanna at the Hospice House in Waycross. We were just a few miles away from her. A great place to relax after such an emotional day. My grown children had their own rooms to go to giving them their much needed space away while still being able to mingle and have family time under the same roof. Dee Dees place felt like walking into Grandmas without the stinky old grandma smell.lol. will stay again.

Lovely holiday home

So pleased with this beautifully decorated Christmas retreat! Older home, but we nderfully updated with great beds, linens and bathrooms. Kitchen was more than well stocked with everything we needed. Would recommend this home for any family looking fir a cost retreat

Just like grandma's.....

This is the second time we have stayed here. My wife's parents live in Waycross and this makes a great place for us to stay and be able to invite them over just like we lived there. The kitchen is fully equipped and everything is comfortable. It feels like a friend let you stay there.

Vacation

It was an amazing property just what we were looking for. The house was immaculate and cute and cozy, and the property manager was also amazing with communication if we needed help with anything very polite. We will definitely be coming back in the future

Everything was provided. Clean, Lord of seating, needs very comfy. Loved the setting. Would stay here again if in area.

Just like grandma's house....

We used this as a homebase for extended family to come together. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas and unlike many vacation rentals had the kitchen fantastically furnished. There was a lot of comfortable seating for after meals. It reminded me of a grandmother's house in all the best ways. It was obvious there has been much love in this house.

Home away from home

The house was very nice, the stay was great! It says no children allowed but they had more fun for children than they did for adults! Very nice place and we will use it again when in the area and have already told others about it!

easy and relaxing.

Being from Cincinnati, my wife and I enjoyed the local plant material in the yard, the blooming shrubs in January, and the warm sunshine. Great launching point for the swamps to the south.

Very Beautiful and relaxing.

My family loved staying in the house for 2 days. We loved sitting outside in the yard.we enjoyed the peacefulness of the neighborhood. We live in the city and needed an escape from the rush of city life. This was a wonderful place to do that. The house was very clean and spacious room for our family who live locally to come and visit we rented the house and had 4 guests come to visit for a few hours and the house had plenty of room for all to be comfortable

Vacation Retreat

It was very nice. I have family in Waycross. We were able to get together on the property and have a cookout. We did a egg hunt for the children. I will be staying here again when I visit my parents.

Beautiful old country home

Loved the family that own the property. Very caring, always available when we had questions. The location of the home was very convenient and loved the view of the tree and field just outside the kitchen window. Beds were cozy and had enough room to cook Sunday dinner for the family. Only missing piece to a country cabin is a working fireplace. To bad prior renters were not responsible people that had to ruin it for others. Maybe the owner would consider an in person interview process in future may help and a contract to use the fireplace so that responsible renters could use. Just a suggestion. Would rent here again for sure!

Nice Visit

This old country house is located on a huge lot. Has a great porch and lots of room inside. Very clean and communication with the owners was great. Highly recommend.
