This was a beautiful, cozy, well decorated home that had everything we needed. There was so much space, yet each one felt comfortable and intimate, not cavernous. We would definitely like to stay again in the future. It was also tucked away up the hill, yet close to the beach and the Discovery Center.

Great stay at Howling Wolf Den

We had a great stay at this property - it was the perfect cabin retreat for a weekend of skiing at Wisp.

Great stay! Beautiful property!

Nice,clean and roomy. Due to weather didn’t get to enjoy hot tub, will be booking again so peaceful!

Great stay!

Great location, clean property. We had a bit of trouble with the key code not working properly but it was quickly fixed by the property manager.

We liked the location. However we didn’t get any hot water for two days and we had to get someone out to fix the fire place.

The roads were not cleared we were not advised that accidents had happened by them and that one of the host people were also in an accident and we were in a car accident with my teenage boy and his 3 friends on his 18 birthday trip. Was not able to even get the house no one was able to get up hill. At all are rental was not drivable had to have towed with no transportation. Then they had to move us to another house that was not as nice as what we originally rented. We had to spend the next day trying to get another car and missed his birthday activities at wisp. Will never rent again.

Chalet was clean and reasonably well equipped but The advertised gas fireplace did not work. The two bedroom tvs did not work. Loose floor tiles in the great room caused my wife to trip over them. Called the management company twice over first two days. Listened to their “ your call is important to us” but nobody answered and no one returned our call from the detailed messages left. Owner should get a new service that understands customer responsiveness. Disappointing at best

House was clean and kitchen was well equipped (a few items it could use: a grill brush and a new peeler). It was nice that they provided a small thing of kitchen soap and bathroom hand soaps. The twins and king mattresses were very nice and extremely comfortable. Both queen mattresses are extremely soft and could use replacing….not a comfortable night’s sleep for the adults in our party. The hot tub water was murky and the chemicals needed adjusting - maintenance responded to that request and fixed it. The trash at the end of the driveway had not been emptied prior to our arrival and was overflowing when we arrived. I notified maintenance about it because we had seen (and subsequently been warned by the neighbors) that a momma bear and her cubs had been dumpter diving. Unfortunately maintenance was not able to get out to deal with the trash before we left so we got an up close and personal view of Momma Bear riffling through the trash at the end of the driveway - we aren’t sure how she got stuff out since there is a wooden enclosure around the trash, but she managed it. The road leading up to the cabin is gravel and steep - just so future travelers are aware. The exterior of the property could use some care - the floorboards on the deck were very slick after the rain and some of the driveway pavers need to be put back where they belong. Overall it was a nice comfortable home that just needs a few items dealt with.

Could have been better!!

The house was in various states of disrepairs , basement bed room and basement had no heat and couldn’t be used the temperature was 45” at all times. The kitchen was not stocked with a Lot of utensils or pans. The bead on the first floor didn’t if the frame it was on, also the flooring in the main room was coming apart in places and the blinds were broken.

Very nice and clean home

The property was very nice. Everything we needed was in the house I have no complaints about anything in the house. My only problem was getting up the steep hills and driveway to the house. I feel that if it were better paved it would make the trip in and out easier. I had an SUV but the ground was wet and it was very scary getting in and out of the property. Other than that the house and the area are beautiful.

Had a great time at the property, very nice and clean. We had 1-2 tiny glitches but overall my friends and I enjoyed ourselves!
