Was a little set back from the idea of not having an AC but to my surprise this was not a problem. With all the openness of the home and the natural breeze we actually covered up at night , I hope to be able to come back and Visit KONA an if we do I would love to be able to stay here again,,, from all of us from ALABAMA THANKS for sharing your home with us we highly recommend this unit

Family vacation to Big Island

Just wish it had air conditioning - but with the windows open there was a nice breeze. And wish had elevator since we were on the 3rd floor (my 84 year mother was with us) -- but we survived since we would go out all day and come back in the evening. Would stay here again!!!

The host was easy to connect with when we had questions. The condo was a great size for 4 adult couples and is in a nice location. We enjoyed the proximity to some snorkel beaches and only about 15 minutes to downtown Kona. Highly recommend staying here if you can!

Great location but the house itself has issues. We arrived and our room was infested with red fire ants and continued for the whole 8 day trip. Along with giant cockroaches and small cockroaches. We got video of both bugs in our bed. The house not having AC was horrible. The ad for the house said it was cool because of surrounding trees but that was far from true. It was unbearable. The very top floor was so hot you couldn’t stand to sleep up there. We booked this trip with 3 adults and 5 kids. When we arrived there was a sign letting us know if we got one complaint for noise it would be 1000 fine. Another sign telling us to mind our footsteps. This made it very difficult to enjoy the house due to the fear of getting a fine. If I would have known all of these things, I would have found a different home for our vacation.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the home did not meet your expectations. The property is professionally treated for pests on a regular basis, and we have not found any evidence of fire ants in the home. As with any tropical destination, occasional insects can enter despite ongoing professional pest-control treatments. We also want to clarify that the property is clearly advertised and disclosed as **not having air conditioning**, so AC was not an amenity included with the reservation. We understand that some guests may find Hawaii’s tropical temperatures warmer than they prefer, particularly during certain times of the year. Regarding the noise notices, these are community rules intended to protect neighboring residents and apply to guests throughout the complex; they are not intended to prevent guests from normally enjoying the home. We appreciate the feedback, but we do feel it is important to clarify these points for future guests considering the property.

Beautiful place

This place was beautiful and conveniently located. There was no AC so it stayed pretty hot inside but overall it was wonderful and we would stay here again.

Great place for the family

We loved this property. It was very spacious and had plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone. The beds were comfortable also and there were lots of great amenities on the property. The kids loved the pool and we also loved walking down to the ocean in the evenings to watch the sunset. The staff were also very friendly and attentive and checked in on us regularly throughout our stay. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Lovely home away from home

Very spacious - bigger than expected! Pool was great, although busy at times. Grills were nice. Road noise was only negative but after about 11pm it quieted down.

Perfect for exploring. Too darn noisy between road ,garbage trucks parked behind the unit DAILY..HUGE negative to a beautiful large space.

Nice place , have stayed at the KSRC many times, never this place It’s huge!! Lots of comfortable beds, bathrooms for everyone, nice kitchen, Hawaiian Vacation style living. Great pool for rough days in the beach, and the snorkeling at the beach is only 10 minutes away. Have a great Christmas!

Family vacation

This was a wonderful choice for our stay. There was plenty of space for our group of eight. It was a close walk to a beach and snorkeling area. Also a close drive to area, restaurants, and attractions. The grounds were well kept. Plenty of parking. Very nice pool. The whole rental process was easy and there was good communication.

Amazing!

This property was amazing to stay at! The property managers were great at requests - helpful and kind about it. The townhouse itself was great. We Alaskans really appreciated the air conditioning in many of the rooms. There were 6 of us staying there and we were quite comfortable. We also enjoyed that it was close to the pool.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great communication, really nice place, super clean, and a minor problem with a toilet was fixed within hours - now that’s service! Quiet complex in a nice location with a grocery store and fantastic beach park/snorkeling nearby. The screened-in lanai here is truly wonderful.
