We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Auteuil, it’s a beautiful apartment in a lovely and quiet neighborhood of Paris. Close to the train, shops, and restaurants. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable for the most part. I take off one star for the bed, my husband and I found it very stiff and uncomfortable. He prefers a somewhat firm mattress for his back—but not that firm. Other than that the space is perfect!

Lovely apartment in quiet friendly neighborhood.

Away from the crowds in leafy Auteuil. Nice cafes. Close to Roland Garros, Marmottan Museum, Bois de Boulogne & Metro.

Beautiful apartment

Madame Claudie communicated well, the apartment is charming, well equipped and located in a quiet, residential Arrondissement. Everything is easily accessible from the metro, which is a short walk away

Perfect location to experience Parisian life

This property is in perfect location to experience Parisian life. Several restaurants and brasseries, a lovely flower shop, little grocery store, metro station, taxi stand, Boulangerie, open air markets several times a week are all within steps of this beautifully appointed apartment. While the photos are an accurate representation of the apartment, it is somehow even more lovely in person. So many interesting vintage architectural details throughout. The bed is super comfy and the kitchen is very well equipped to prepare meals. The check in and check out process was very easy. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Magalis place. We were able to easily get to the more populated tourist areas by metro or taxi, and it was always nice to come home at night to the vibrant and more sedate vibe of a cute Parisian neighborhood.

Perfect Parisian Sejour!

Charming and gracious apartment made for a memorable stay. The apartment is very well appointed with all the comforts of a home. The owner was hospitable and welcoming and attentive to our needs and any questions that we had. Located in the heart of the village of Auteuil, there are many good restaurants and cafes, parks, excellent shopping and a wonderful local market. Easy walking distance to 2 metro lines and a bus terminal.

Beautiful apartment 5 stars, but, noise from upstairs neighbor during sleep hours

Madame Levesque's apartment is gorgeous. She has exquisite taste in decor. The ground-floor apartment has a door from the well-equipped kitchen to a small courtyard. Toilette in separate room is wonderful. Washing machine in bathroom. Be careful with the 22-inch high bathtub/shower. I had to "side-saddle" the edge of tub, swing one leg out at a time. Everything inside the apartment is beautiful. What a shame to have inconsiderate person(s) living in the apartment above Mme’s home. This person ignored the "Parisian Apartment Good Neighbor Policies"... he/she came home at all hours of the night, walked with heavy shoes on parquet floor...made other noise until 3am or 4am. I even wrote a gracious note and slipped it under their door... as my French friends had advised. The noise subsided the next 3 nights, then, it was back to noise noise noise from late night to about 3am or 4am. Wearing earplugs didn’t help because when the entire building is quiet, sound waves rolling across parquet floor/ceiling is amplified. I had to sleep in the living-room most nights. This is the fourteenth apartment I’ve rented in Paris since 2016. I advise your asking Mme. Levesque if this neighbor still lives there. Final note, this apartment is truly gorgeous. I wish everyone vibrant health.

This is a PERFECT apartment!

This apartment so exceeded our expectations! It’s in the 16th, with few tourists. Flower market just around the corner with a great grocery store just a few steps farther. Farmers market Wednesday & Saturday, or 4 blocks further, Tuesdays & Fridays with a huge Carrefour just past that. Butcher, seafood, bread/pastry shops & a great fresh pasta shop. Restaurants everywhere-French, Italian, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Japanese, Thai. 2 metro lines and numerous bus lines. The apartment is superb! Queen bed with an actual closet, not a wardrobe, and blackout curtains. TV with English news channels (we left a list of them with the house information). Lights and sockets everywhere, coat hooks by the entry. Great tub/shower with washing machine/dryer. We would wash in the flat and take our wet clothes to the laundromat around the corner (big, fast dryers). Dry in 16 minutes! Separate toilet was great. Extra supplies were everywhere. The outside hall closet has a shopping cart. Clothes and dishwasher soap, hand soap, garbage sacks-just extra everything, so generous of her. Kitchen had every pot, pan, plate on the planet, spices, coffees. Great appliances that all worked. Induction, convection, Nespresso, blender, microwave, toaster. Garbage and recycling just through a hall door. I could go on and on. It was so relaxing and so easy. Will we be back? Oh, yes, most definitely! Thank you, Claudie, your generosity made our stay, well, PERFECT!

Très bien situé

Appartement confortable, bien décoré et très bien situé. Beau quartier où il y a toutes les commodités. L'appartement donne sur une cour intérieure, ce qui, étant donné la canicule du début de septembre, a contribué à garder l'appartement frais.

A delightful place to stay

We were looking for a place in an interesting neighborhood. This apartment was perfect for us. We're in our 80s and wanted a place that was close enough to the Metro, interesting restaurants and shops, and highly accessible. With its art, books, and bright colors, it reminded us of our own home.

Lovely!

Roomy and well-equipped apartment in Auteuil, a convenient, pretty, but definitely not touristy neighborhood. I loved it! Walking distance from the metro, with lots of places to food shop and eat. Mme Levesque couldn't have been kinder. Highly recommend.

Charming apartment in fantastic neighbourhood

I stayed in this apartment for the month of July and really enjoyed it. The apartment looks into an inner courtyard and is very quiet and there is no street noise at all. As it is also on the ground floor, the apartment was a cool oasis from the blistering Paris heat. Despite traveling often to Paris, I had never stayed in Auteuil before and I absolutely loved the neighbourhood. Everything one could want (grocery, bakery, restaurants, taxis, etc) were just steps from the apartment, without the tourist masses of other neighbourhoods.

Comfortable home during our month stay.

Everything you need as when staying in some one's home. Very French elegant decor. Convenient location for Metro and bus connections. Safe neighborhood. Friendly people. Helps to speak a little French.

Lovely apartment in nice area

Loved the apartment. Madame Levesque was lovely when we met her on arrival and provided everything we needed. Apartment clean and nicely furnished. Perfect location for our visit to Roland Garros reached in about 10 minutes. Communication was always good. Would certainly stay here again.

Un appartement très agréable dans un beau quartier

L’appartement est très confortable, spacieux et decore avec goût et soin. La propriétaire est très sympathique et serviable. Le quartier est agréable, facile d’accès en bus ou en métro. Plein de petits restaurants de toutes sortes, un marché bien achalandé et des commerces de bouche pour les gastronomes. Une excellente adresse à ne pas manquer. J’y retournerai à coup sûr.

Wonderful 4 months

Claudie's apartment is just like the pictures. The location is perfect. Within a 5 minute walk is the metro, several bus stops, several supermarkets, boulangeries, boucherie, fromagerie, etc., and the Bois du Bologne. It is on the ground floor so there are no steps, but doesn't face the street so it is very quiet. Although Paris weather was cold and damp most of the time the apartment was very cozy. We ate most of our meals in and found the kitchen very functional, especially having a place to eat as part of the kitchen (although there is a large table in the living room. There was a nice closet and dresser for clothes and the bed was firm and comfortable. Claudie was a great host and for longer stays like ours we used her housekeeper who came every several weeks for an additional charge to clean and change the linens. All in all, a very functional apartment and a fantastic location. We would rent Claudie's apartment again.

Très joli appartement

Très bien décoré. Chaleureux et pratique. Rez de chaussée donc manque de lumière, mais bien placé, proche des commerces et des transports. Accueil charmant.
