Supat's disappointing review is extremely puzzling, since our guest immediately before and after their stay made no reference to any of these conditions. Additionally, there was no mention of these issues to our on-site manager during their stay and, in fact, they expressed satisfaction upon their departure. VillAllure is a downhill built home with 38 steps from the parking area to the front door and we represent that the villa is not suitable for young children, elderly adults or those with mobility issues. While there are lower bedrooms, there is not a basement at VillAllure. We do run dehumidifiers in the lower levels due to the ambient humidity in the Caribbean air and the fact that they're built into the hill. They were told electric power is frequently lost on island, which was the case upon their arrival, resulting in these conditions being more prominent and water pressure potentially being lost for toilets and showers. There's no evidence of mold on the property and any apparent proof of this was never previously communicated or since represented with any pictures. Regarding safety issues, all decks were inspected and repainted in the month prior to their arrival and are not unsafe. VillAllure is continuously being updated and maintained, not all windows are meant to be opened and none are cracked. The door wasn't cracked and the fridge handle wasn't broken prior to their stay, resulting in their security deposit being held and their falsified review being filed.

Good morning Shawn! Thank you for writing a review for your stay at villAllure. So happy to hear you had a wonderful time and have made many lifetime memories. As you know, water is very precious and St John. The hot water tank in the master bedroom is small because of that. We encourage turning on and off the water as you need it.. Thank you so much for the positive review. We always appreciate reviews from our guests and we are happy to hear your enjoyed your time at villAllure. I would like to address a couple of your comments. The views from the villa is of Hurricane Hole and Coral Bay not Chocolate Hole. The original owner was a gourmet cook so he designed the kitchen for his use. Other then new cabinets the kitchen has all new appliances except for the stove top. I apologize for the beach chairs, I am not sure what keeps happening to them. There are six new high back chairs that were derived right after your stay. As far as the beach towels they have a way of disappearing. Those too have just been replaced after your stay. We are constantly doing upgrades and trying to improve the villa. We just had the whole outside painted and all the mahogany re varnished. Please give us any other input to make your stay and the villa better.
