We are actually a full time rental agency and we list multiple ways to contact us in the app and listed in the unit itself. We do have an answering service we use for afterhours emergency but if it's not an emergency we will call you back the next morning. As for the lobby entrance, condos commonly undergo routine maintenance and the main entrance was being worked on for a few weeks so the side entrance was open for your use. The only thing I have record of you calling about is the unit door. In Florida we have severe humidity and this causes doors to both swell and shrink. That is exactly what happened here and there's nothing to be done about it and it's common all through the state. On beach-side properties like this we can't install metal doors because of the salt corrosion so wood is the only realistic option even though it does swell and shrink with the weather. It is still very secure and fits in the door frame year-round even if the doors can stick slightly in the warmer months.

We are unsure why you had expectations of a full unit remodel when we do accurately show the interior as is when guests book the reservation. The mattresses sound to be ust your personal preference as they are all less than 2 years old.

However, we did and do fully inform guests of this noisy concrete work and all other construciton impacts. We are both extremely clear and specific in the listing description. We als definitely did and do send an automated email right after booking reiterating all of these impacts and asking guests to confirm they are fully aware. You yourself did reply to this email confirming. We are very confused why you have said this in your review and why you have left a dishonest, negative review. When you called, we never simply said you signed the contract but we did point out the information in both the description and in the reminder you confirmed after booking. The noise that warned you about was happening so there was nothing more we could or should have done.

One of our favorite things to hear is that guests found their own little slice of paradise during their stay. We found out Spectrum is digging up new lines in that area to upgrade everyone's internet so there have been some outtages and slowing of service as well, temporarily, as they get everyone upgraded.

We provide detailed arrival information in your guest portal about arrival, parking, and other important property information. We also provide all the security codes as well in this portal. Although we send many reminder emails, it appears you did not use the portal. You arrived very late afterhours which was the only reason someone was not there. We do also have an emergency afterhours number for after 5PM that you could have used as well.

It sounds like you did not use our app. We send an invitation to download our app a few times prior to your arrival and the email states that this will include all arrival instructions and property information. The email also states that if you are reluctant to use the app to let us know so that we can print out the information for you. I have a record that the call you mentioned happened afterhours. We did call you back the next business day morning as it was not an emergency, but we did resolve your concern about the lock being loose the next business day. It was still secure, just getting a little loose. As for the beach equipment, the way we operate is that we do not list beach equipment as an amenity at any of our properties because salt corrosion can make items unusable after even just a few uses, especially if not rinsed off after use. There is typically beach equipment at all of our properties left by both owners and guests and it's just a bonus for our guests but what is available from stay to stay cannot be guaranteed.
