My stay at WindRose

The house was very well organized and way cuter and bigger than what the pictures showed! My guests and I were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house, but especially the cleanliness of the hot tub! The house was fully stocked with plenty of towels and soaps for all of our guests during the stay!

Very enjoyable stay.

Very roomy, close walk to the ocean. The hot tub was lovely. It is in a very residential area so you do need to be mindful of your volume.

Great house close to the beach

Only a few blocks from the beach and easily slept 7 of us. Very comfortable and pretty clean!! Family loved it.

Clean, spacious home about 4 blocks from the beach

This home was easy to access, clean upon arrival, and had a fenced in area for dogs. There were 6 of us (3 adults and 3 teens) and all enjoyed their stay. Only thing missing is a master bath, but the main bathroom upstairs was big and had both shower and tub. Walk in shower in the downstairs bathroom was also nice. Kitchen and dining area were fairly large with a big fridge! Lots of sitting spaces and separate rooms were also nice to have to give everyone space at times. Area for parking held 2 cars and 2 more would have fit in the garage. Would definitely stay here again!

Dog friendly home but weren’t happy with the lack of cleanliness

We loved that the house has a fenced yard for the dogs. It has nice decor throughout. Funky layout, but that didn’t bother us much. What did bother us was: the poor cleaning job (we found hairs in the shower and bathroom floor, crumbs all over the couch upon arrival, carpet stains); the hot tub was cold when we arrived and we could use it until day 2; there was no laundry soap so we had to go buy some and the dryer took two full cycles to dry clothes. Other than those issues, the house was spacious for our party of six and the kids loved the TV room upstairs. However, we wouldn’t stay there again because of the other issues we experienced.

Watch the Fees

Let me start by saying this was a great property. Close to the beach, warm and homey, clean and comfortable. Would totally stay here again. But check the fees. Managed by VACASA, they hit you with all of the management fees then VRBO will tack on theirs as well. The review won’t let me post amounts, but let’s say it was ridiculous. Go rent directly from Vacasa. I’m honestly feeling a little ripped off as I head home.

Family time vacation

It's a beautiful home with quite a kitchen. The deck with hot tub is heavenly. The kids and adults enjoyed everything. The fireplace is great when done with hot tub. The house feels is just as if you were at your own house.

Lincoln City Fall Trip

Very easy to find and close to beach access and town. Comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed our time here. There was a slight problem with booking as after we booked the property said no pets a few days before arrival. At first I was told there were no exceptions but working with property management we were still able to take our dogs. So great response. Once there any questions we had were answered quickly. House is nice and met all our needs. Great stay.

Beautiful house minutes from the beach

This house was amazing! Super clean and spacious. Within walking distance of the beach. The hot tub was wonderful and the neighborhood was very nice. I highly recommend this house for anyone planning to visit Lincoln City.

We loved the house! Hot tub was amazing and clean, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Nice that there was extra towels and sheets and blankets! Warm nicely decorated house that can fit a large family. Upstairs media room for kids is a great addition

Mini Moon was great

Overall - property was located perfectly between the coastline (less than a 10 min walk) and major road (101, a minute drive). Partner and I were easily able to get around. Hot tub was great, and my partner loved spending every night in it (I'm not as into hot tubs). The buttons were worn down, so its a little guess and press, but works great. We could tell the house and pans have been used, but everything is functional, and they had all the appliances we needed for making food, coffee, etc. Our dog loved sprinting through the house, up the stairs, and back down. The front/side yard is really where the dog can go, and she is still young so it was more than enough room for her. Honestly - pre pandemic I went to multiple rentals a year. This is the first one since, and it was a far better experience than anything I had used previously. Made our mini honeymoon truly wonderful. Oh - the light switches confused us. That might be the only negative thing.

Only 3-day stay

House was very clean, and the kitchen had everything, and anything you needed for cooking. The house was a little choppy the way some of the rooms were built, but it worked out great.

Family getaway at WindRose

The WindRose was a perfect place for our family getaway and it checked all the boxes. What you see is what you get. It accommodated us with our son and his wife and their 2 sons (ages 7 & 5). The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. Our grandsons especially loved the upstairs bed covey and family room. This gave them a separate area to play and watch movies and have their downtime when we weren't out exploring. Finding a place with a fully fenced yard is difficult so this was ideal for our border collie. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall pretty good

House is located relatively well. Far enough from the road you don’t hear traffic, few minutes walk to the beach and close to everything you’d need. House was pretty good, and the kitchen was well supplied with just about everything you’d need. Layout of the house was a little funny as a few others have mentioned but didn’t bother us. Hot tub was a nice addition however it wasn’t cleaned as it had a ton of sand from previous guests. Only other thing I’d have to say is it seems every door in the house either is almost impossible to lock or difficult to open. Otherwise nothing to complain about. Beds were very nice and comfortable. Overall not too bad of an experience.
