nice location but owner difficult to deal with.
We arrived on our scheduled date, but the owner neglected to inform the front desk that we were arriving. Consequently it took considerable time to convince the desk manager that we were entitled to the keys to the unit. As a result the water had not been turned on so we were without water until the next morning.
The kitchen and front room were clean and neat, but we found the bathroom to be very unattractive. The fixtures and grout in the bathtub just don't appear to be clean and also the toilet doesn't flush completely.
The bed is comfortable, but the owner has provided only two small cheap pillows, so my wife and I were forced to go and buy two more decent pillows.
At the end of our vacation, we left the condo in the same tidy condition we found it in and caused no damage whatsoever. My wife and I are very respectful of other people’s property.
Two weeks after we arrived home, I sent an email to the owner asking him if there were any issues with our stay and when we could expect to see our damage deposit. He chose to ignore the email so ten days after that, I phoned him. When I identified myself, his tone turned angry. The call lasted slightly over one minute before he hung up on me.
At the time of writing this review, it has been 90 days since we vacated the condo and we still haven't received our damage deposit. I feel that the owner has had more than adequate time to assess the property and refund our money. At this point we don't expect to ever see it. My wife and I treated the condo with the same respect we treat our own home, but the condo owner has shown very little respect for us. His customer service skills appear sorely lacking. I would not recommend this property for your vacation.
