Great stay. Love this place

Fourth time we have stayed at this property. As always, it does not disappoint. Location is perfect for our needs, space is comfortable, clean, and very inviting. Owner is very responsive and friendly. He thinks of everything. We’ll be back.

Anniversary trip

The place is very nice. Plenty of room and the view was half way decent. Owner responded well when needed. We probably won't stay there again. But only for personal reasons. Still worth the money.

Comfortable 4 night stay

We stayed 4 nights in January. Communication, cleanliness, comfort, and amenities all excellent. Note that there are 3 short flights of steps to the lower level bedrooms. My husband walks with a cane, but these would not be a deterrent to our staying again. We had quite a bit of downtime, so were trying to watch tv. The channel lineup was odd to me. No ESPN. We had to go elsewhere to watch major bowl games. This is not a deal breaker for us but just be aware if you are planning to spend time watching tv. If you have subscriptions to various streaming channels, you would be able to sign in for those. Overall, we had a very nice, comfortable stay (beds and linens were great) and watching the snowmobiles streaking along the river was fun.

All decked out for the holiday

This was our third stay. Always look forward to the hospitality. Our hosts spared no effort in decorating the unit for a merry Christmas . Always, clean and inviting.

Quick getaway

So clean! Really appreciate the fun we had watching and playing pool. Although it's tucked away in a neighborhood, it was very quiet. They had everything we could have wanted. We will be back!

Family Visit 2023

This was our second stay at this property, which is truly a "home away from home." It is spacious and well appointed and in convenient location. It's in a quiet neighborhood and boasts a nice view of the river, with wildlife and pleasure boat traffic. We hope to return in the future to this clean and comfortable property.

Perfect place to say when visiting family in the area

Property is located close to just about everything that Port Huron has to offer. Off the beaten path, yet close enough to shopping, eating, and sightseeing.

Hidden Gem In Port Huron

Property is well maintained, both inside and out. The check-in process was very smooth and any questions that you may have Mike, the owner, was more than happy to answer them. Property is situated in a very nice neighborhood on the Black River but also close to shops, restaurants and of course Lake Huron. This was our first time traveling to this part of Michigan and we will definitely be back and this will be the property that we look to stay at next time.

Beautiful view of Black river with boaters and water fowls swimming. Very peaceful.

Family visit 2022

This well kept, efficiciently appointed and super clean rental was perfect for our needs. Fantastic value for a "home away from home." The landscaping complimented a lovely river view. Other than a few pleasure boats passing by it was very quiet and peaceful. Truly a hidden gem. Contactless check in and check out made the process super easy. We hope to stay here again for future trips to the area.
