Hill top views

Beautiful location. Views of all Monaco. Check in was super easy once we were able to locate correct entrance.

Under construction

There was no view as the building was under construction. I work remotely while traveling from the US and it was a very difficult place to work remotely from using the internet from the neighbor (no access from bedroom) and the uncountable to low chairs at the counter. Having the windows 100% blocked out didn’t help. All in all a difficult place for me to work and work comfortably.

Not as advertised - no scenic views from windows

The main reason we booked was due to the views outside the windows. Unfortunately the windows are completely blocked with sheets and masking tape. Outside the windows there is scaffolding and building works taking place which was very noisy starting from 8am. I read that these works will take place for at least the rest of this year. Please check that these works have been completed before you book.

Fabulous unique property

Breathtaking views, wonderful apartment in a converted grand hotel. You do need to be able bodied to handle the stairs from the Casino up but the view is worth it. Make sure you locate the escalators on day one.

Amazing

The photos of Riviera Palace on VRBO were incredible. They do not even come close to how great the apartment is in real life. First off, Patrick’s communication and check in instructions were perfect. The apartment is very clean and has all of the amenities that the advertisement on VRBO promised. The view from the window overlooking Monaco, the Mediterranean Sean and the Monte Carlo Casino are breathtaking! The apartment is huge and for the price, so much more than you could expect from any hotel! We will hopefully be back again to stay in the future! Please be aware, if you have a problem with stairs and a lot of uphill walking, then Monaco may not be the place to visit! The walk from the apartment to the Monte Carlo Casino from the apartment is only about 15 minutes, but it is down many, many staircases! There are escalators for part or the way back up to the apartment, but it is still a lot of up hill climbing. This is the same for all of Monaco and not just the Riviera Palace.

Great apartment and view

Amazing apartment! Spacious and clean. Out of the ordinary. Only problem for us was the hill and climbing of stairs everyday as we came for business trip and it was difficult to find a taxi back up. Otherwise great stay!

Excellent stay!

We enjoyed a lot our stay in this luxury appartement with a stunning view over Monaco and the ocean. It is really something special! I highly recommend!

Stunning view a few minutes walk from the centre

This is a spectacular apartment in a famous old palace. Beautifully kitted out with the most amazing high ceilings. If you are visiting on business, make sure to keep a few hours spare to sit in the flat, enjoy the view and write poetry, memories or love letters. The flat is also well kitted out with washing machine, fridge, kitchen, iron, and everything you'd expect from a 5 star apartment.
