Beautiful Villa on top of mountain

Our stay here was really nice. I would recommend it to other visitors to Cabo. You will need to rent a car if you wish to leave the villa. It is at the top of a very large hill with steep cobblestone roads.

Great Cabo locale

Wonderful Pedregal villa in Cabo San Lucas. 3br, 3.5ba with loads of entertaining area. Pool and hot tub. Generously-sized bedrooms. Nice walk to beaches or into town. Hilly area provides breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez and Pacific Ocean. You'll love spending a week or more here.

Some plumbing leaks, upstairs shower and under downstairs sinks. Ver well equipped, need a new can opener. Thank you!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at the Villa. The house was magnificent. Housekeeping crew would come every other day and did a great job. The only problem was to get Uber rides since navigation gets lost in that neighborhood and the front gate don’t provide maps or good directions to get there. Other than that it was the best trip ever, will definitely stay again. Adriana (California)

Sunny, Bright and Beautiful Villa

We would like to say thank you for such a lovely stay at Villa Los Amigos last month. We have been planning this 40th birthdays celebration for over a year and couldn't have been more pleased with this house as well as Cabo San Lucas. The Villa is gorgeous, very clean, spacious and the view is great. The kitchen is large and great for cooking, soft clean linens, new flat screen/stereo and couches....I could go on and on, this places has it all. The girls and I enjoyed morning walks to town for great shopping, the guys went fishing and we all enjoyed the outdoor activities. We absolutely loved our trip and will definitely be back!! Thanks again from the "Oh Lordy we're 40" crew.

Fishing Vacation

No instructions on use of TV or hot tub. Location is hard for Taxis to find. Steps are not marked this is a hazard. No cable tv as advertised. Property manager did not show up until 4th day to show us how to work hot tub and TV. Phone was not usable and our cell phone hard to use. No checkout instructions.

Everything works properly at the house, and we do have Dish TV and it works great. The hot tub works also and there are directions in our welcome book. The stairs are stairs.... however, one stair that leads to the kitchen IS actually marked and has been for a very long time. I send my guests maps and info for getting to the house as well as info for staying at the house and best ways to reach our property manager. He responds very quickly when guests need him. I have been renting this house for around 14 years so if guests read the info, they should have a good time. The best thing to do is to contact our property manager immediately if one has questions instead of waiting several days or after checking out. Our property manager does not come on the first day to give our guests privacy, but he is available if needed. I typically reach out to our guests as well, but I was on vacation when this guest was there, and I let him know that as well, but he did not respond to me.

Perfect size for what we needed

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Villa Los Amigos. The house was a great size for the 6 of us and there is a nice view of Land's End and the Pacific from the house. It's about a 15 min walk to town (Cabo Wabo area). Its not a bad walk down but I don't recommend walking back up from town midday or after enjoying the Cabo nightlife. :) It was nice to have a BBQ and Icemaker that worked which we didn't experience at the last place we rented. The pool is the perfect size for soaking and relaxing and it is kept nice and clean. The only negative thing that I'd have to say deals with the hot tub. I had the property manager show me how to use it and even after instructions and making sure the pool heater wasn't on I couldn't get it to heat up. It still felt good though especially when you are sitting in 90 degree heat. :) This house was well worth the price we paid and I should know because I've stayed at properties in Pedregal that didn't turn out to be as nice or user friendly for more money.

Sunsational!

Gorgeous weather every day! We enjoyed the patio, pool & hot tub!! Pedregal neighborhood is stunning with many beautiful homes built on the cliff. The private Pedregal beach is a gem! Can walk to the marina & downtown easily but be prepared for an intense workout. The house had most of the basics and the air conditioning worked great. The bedrooms are spacious, living room is quite small for a family of 5 with limited seating and one TV in the entire house, although we spent most of our time outdoors. The property manager was very responsive with any issues. The house definitely requires some maintenance as cabinet doors were falling off the hinges, the kitchen sink backed up and was unusable our last day, bathroom sink is leaky, windows don’t lock on the lower level, and the house really needs a deep cleaning. The house cleaner came several times during our stay for basic cleaning & organizing. Highly recommend the Waldorf Spa (very pricey); Cerritos beach for swimming, surfing; snorkel with the whale sharks in La Paz (Cabo adventures) and dining at Tres Sirenas, Nobu, Ardea Steakhouse, and the Office. Marlin fishing was great with Freddie on the Joceline. We loved Cabo & the Pedregal community.

Spacious home for 8

Overall, it was a great home. Things that could use some improvements, such as... Francisco never met us on our first or second day. It would have been nice to meet someone who knew the house, area, and answered questions we had. We did have to call Francisco the 3rd day since there were a lot of ants, some cockroaches, and small mites in the home each day. There were safes in each bedroom as advertised, but we could not use them. No instructions were provided. No house number on the villa; just Los Amigos, but everyone had problems finding the home. We recommend you give the neighbor's house number in hopes they get close to picking you up or dropping you off. If you want a view of the ocean/beach you do only get a peek-a-boo view of the water, not beach. Overall, we were happy with the house, just needs small improvements where we mention the above. We did appreciate the housekeeper coming every other day vs. every three days, and they also came by to clean the pool every other day as well. Very nice cleaning staff.

We are happy that you enjoyed your stay at our home. In regard to your comments… Some people prefer not to have staff stopping by for privacy reasons, so we have our property manager come over when people request him, or when maintenance is needed. He is available by phone or text and our guests receive his contact info before they arrive. Additionally, I am available if people need anything. We are in the tropics and from time to time the outdoors ends up inside (especially when the large sliding glass doors are left open), but we do we pride ourselves on keeping a very clean, comfortable and maintained home. Thank you for reaching out to him about your needs so that he could address them. We do not advertise the house to have a beach view. We advertise that the house has a peekaboo view of the ocean. I give my guests detailed maps and instructions ahead of time for finding the villa and where to find the best beaches (also the Pedregal security will gladly escort you to the house if needed). Thank you for staying with us and we look forward to hosting you again in the future.

Great Property....Great Stay!!!

Casa Los Amigos was a great place to stay for our group. Had plenty of space and a great patio/pool area. All rooms and bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. Everyone enjoyed their stay and would definitely come back to this property the next time we are in Cabo. Thanks for the great stay!!!!!

Great Vacation

The Villa was perfect for all our needs and a great value. The pool was refreshing and we used it everyday. We rented a car but also took walks to the beach and town. Lot's of hills but great exercise. Right on the middle of all things Cabo! Great layout for our family of 6 with lots of privacy. We shall return!

Our family of five enjoyed an excellent week at Villa Los Amigos. Generally everything was excellent and as advertised. We had an issue with the internet but the property manager was on it and had it fixed as quickly as possible. The water pressure in the master bath should be addressed as one shower head could not be used. Strongly recommend this property and would happily stay here again.

Great Place for Families

We enjoyed our stay in Villa Los Amigos. It is prettier in person than what the pictures depict. Very clean and enough space for for the family to gather and also have individual spaces to be on their own. There's a step down between the family room and kitchen that can be bit tricky to get used. We recommend having groceries delivered before your arrival, including bottled water for drinking. We didn't rent a car but used a service to and from the airport and then relied on walking and Ubers.

Great for large crowd!

Beautiful and peaceful mornings. Sun on the pool ALL day. Perfect house for 8 people. Great kitchen for cooking- we order groceries from Denise at Vacation Store, so cooked at home often. She is from USA so is easy to communicate wih and will go shop anytime during the stay. We loved walking down to Marina, but you must be an active person to do this. We figured out Uber is the most inexpensive transportation. It was $4-$8. Taxis were $25-$35 every time. There wasa little construction work next door but they start mid morning and are done by 3. Never woke us up or interrupted happy hour. The maid is here every other day, is a sweetheart and is spotless!! I recommend highly!

Casa Los Amigos*** 5 STARS***

Casa Los Amigos was an absolutely beautiful house, surrounded by mansions and hills. The CASA is amazing, there were 6 of us from the ages of 45 to 84. We were all comfortable and did not get in each other's way. The pool and jacuzzi were beautiful and was serviced several times during our stay. Esther the housekeeper did an amazing job and made sure the house was tidy during our 8-day stay. The ONLY thing you need to be aware of is that if you are not in the best of shape it's a hike to get down the marvelous hills into town. We called a taxi to get us up and down the hill so keep this in mind. All in all we had a very positive expeirence at CASA Los Amigos and highly recommend you give it a whirl!

Fantastic Stay!

Everything about the villa, location, property manager, owner was amazing. Stayed here for a week with friends. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate. Francisco the property manager was super helpful and always quick to respond with answers to our questions. The property owner was super gracious of sending a very detailed email with contacts and recommendations for food, excursions, beaches, etc. would definitely recommend Villa Los Amigos to anyone!

Perfect First Villa

This Villa really exceeded my expectations - it was so spacious and clean. We had 8 adults and every couple got their own room. The pool and the hot tub were perfect and we spent a lot of time in them. *Note, the pool is sunny in the morning but in the shade in the afternoon, so if you want to tan, do it in the a.m. Kitchen was great and we made a lot of meals for breakfast and dinner to save money. Calling a taxi was simple, and always felt safe with security gate up front and security patrol in the evenings. We did walk down a few times to the marina, but always had to taxi back up, too steep to walk back up. That was an unexpected expense just for Cabo in general, the taxis were always $20 USD one-way, no matter how many passengers (my husband and I went downtown - $20, 8 of us went downtown, $3/4 each one-way). Would definitely stay again, so nice, and a great view, we took lots of picture in by the pool. And Francisco the property manager answered my call on the first day when we had questions about the hot tub - it takes a while to heat up, but when it does, it's perfect! And there's the cleaning service that comes a few times during the week which was a nice perk. Just lovely, thank you for letting us stay in your villa!

I am very sorry that you had falls. With all due respect, I must let readers know though that the villa is not dangerous. We do have stairs which are shown in the photos to give people an idea. There are 3 main levels to the villa. We do not have an elevator. Most of the villas in our hillside community are much larger than ours and have many more steps than ours. Guests should use common sense caution when walking on stairs and turn on lights if they can’t see.

Beautiful. The Pedegral is wonderful.

Cabo is such a beautiful city. The house was amazing. Better than the pictures. Took taxis everywhere and they charged 5$ per person. SO much to do in Cabo. We went to the grocery store. The house has everything you can imagine, so it is easy to cook. Very clean. The weather was amazing. Definitely recommend this house. Perfect trip.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting

My family of 6 adults stayed in this house for four nights & enjoyed it immensely! The house is very nice with a lovely view. The property manager came by to check on us, very nice man, and we used Danny Boy transportation to/from airport, excellent service! The only negative is that all of the beds are very firm & (for us) uncomfortable, but, as a result we were up early enough to see the majestic sunrise each morning! We loved Cabo and will be back someday!

1. House is spacious and well designed. Nice view of mansions, mountain, and the sea. 2. Bed very comfortable. 3. Spacious master bath and kitchen well-appointed. 4. Pool and hot tub are great, with fast heaters. 5. Good security at Pedregal entrance. Things to know: most nearby homes are very impressive mansions. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The house is about a 20 minute walk up then steep down to the city, by the marina. Walking back up is strenuous but we loved it. Cab for 6 people from pedregal security gate up to house (only .75 miles) cost $20, but from faraway supermercado to house cost $12. ??? Limo from airport to house was $110. Huge purchase of groceries at supermercado was just $45. Much cheaper to cook in house kitchen, and one dinner out was $200 for 6 but fish horribly overcooked. Kayak to el arco! Mountainbike in desert! Snorkel! Great stay, great trip.

We stayed 5 days. The place was amazing and very clean. The view was also amazing. We thought the place was better than the pictures. From the moment we arrived, everything was just as described and just as the instructions given to us. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Beach towels and bath towels were provided. There was also a washer and dryer in the house to clean our clothes. The housekeeper came by every couple of days to clean and replace the linens and towels which was perfect. Although Francisco, the property manager was always available, we truly never needed him. However, when we asked the housekeeper, about gas for the grill, she contacted him and he brought a full tank while we were out. The house had plenty of room and space for all 8 of my group. Before arriving, we had some concerns about safety but the entire area of Pedregal was very safe. Everyone in the neighborhood was also very friendly. We walked to the private beach nearby which was about a 15 minute walk. The walk wasn't bad and the beach was amazing although it wasn't a swim beach. Cab rides to and from the downtown area where everything is, cost around $15, which wasn't too bad for 8 people but sometimes we chose to walk, which was also about a 15 minute walk, mostly downhill, and took a cab ride back. Before our stay, we had a couple of questions which were quickly answered by the owner. We took the owner's advice and used Danny Boy to provide our airport transportation. We even hired them to take us to the grocery store when we arrived and for a day to take us to Todos Santos. They were always on time and affordable. There truely isn't anything bad anyone in my group had to say about our stay. We would definitely stay here again and hated to leave. Thanks Angie!

Best Cabo Experience Yet!

I stayed in this villa for two weeks with some close friends; I stayed in the upper bedroom which had the best views. Then some other good friends came so I moved to the lower bedroom; which a also really liked... it has its own private bath, and is closes to the kitchen ( and cold beverages ) :) . The hot tub heats up in a snap and the pool ambiance is great. The surrounding views of the mountains, distant beaches, boats sailing, and beautiful nearby homes was so nice to gaze upon. We'd usually whip out our computers and get some work done in the mornings... wifi is better than my connection back here in the Seattle area and they even have a Vonage phone for making calls back to the states for free. In the evenings we'd make our way downtown for dinner and drinks... this place is close enough to the action.... but just far enough to feel "away from it all" . Can't wait to go back to Cabo again... I hope this place will be available then!
