Where do I begin…. I asked about parking an additional vehicle that would not fit in garage prior to arriving and again at the Panhandle Gateways front desk. I was given incorrect information both times. Don’t buy an additional parking pass, just go to the security guard at the garage. Front desk is clueless and do not care if they help or not. We arrived a little before check in time and luckily found a luggage cart (good luck with that). Everyone seemed to be able to get in their rooms early, but not us. Our room was not ready at the check in time and we waited an additional hour in the walkway with luggage. Again, the front desk was useless. Finally got to the room and it was nice with plenty of room, but not as nice as pictured. Here are some issues: Living room rug was not vacuumed, no dust pan, air conditioner vents severely clogged and dirty, sliding doors very hard to open and the one in the master bedroom was impossible to open and living room smoke detector was missing. The beach area was entirely too crowded. We ended up going to the public beach next door. Not enough chairs at the pool and ice is $4.00 for a bag. Could not find a cart for check out, so we thought we could pull our car up to the building for 10 minutes to load everything instead of pulling it out to the parking garage. Nope… they blocked the drive at checkout. Very disappointed with the facility and staff. We paid entirely too much for the value we received and will never stay there again or recommend. We loved the beaches and the activities away from the condo.
