We really enjoyed our stay. Front porch was very nice to sit and relax after a long day of hiking. Heater worked well, it was getting cold at night still, but we were warm, and beds were comfy.

Frank and his group was the sweetest guest. Anyone could hope to have I could not believe that several guys stayed in a place for eight days and it was as clean and neat as I’ve ever seen it after someone has left and I hope they come back to visit with us. Location of property was perfect for exploring Garden of the Gods, Pond Hollow and Rim Rock. Host was very fast to respond to all our questions. Would definitely recommend thus place!

I want to say that I thought these were the best young people that I have ever had to stay at my vacation rental. They left everything so nice and I invite them to come again and I hope they do. I loved having them just sorry I didn’t get to meet them and have a talk with them.

Great Front Porch View

Enjoyed our stay. Great view out front, perfect for morning coffee or an evening cold brew. Very comfortable beds, and everything you need to cook in the kitchen.

Great place close to Garden of the Gods

Beautiful view, with an easy drive to the Garden of the Gods. Eloise is an amazing hoat, with great communication. Very thankful we were able to stay here.

Just Perfect

This is our favorite place to stay in Southern Illinois. The location makes it just perfect for what we need. My favorite part is the front porch where we watch the deer in the mornings and evenings. It is quiet and peaceful.

Comfortable stay in a great location for hiking

Great host and property

We visited during Memorial Day weekend and the location was very beautiful with forest in the backyard! Very nicely maintained! Eloise, the host was very kind and helpful as she quickly helped us with our needs. Definitely recommend everyone.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for exploring the east side of Shawnee National Park. The front porch is a perfect place to enjoy the wonderful views.

Great stay in a perfect location central to so many great spots in Southern IL!

Eloise was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Highly recommend you stay in this cozy spot if you’re looking to do anything in the area. So much to see, some great hikes, and the tree swing, hammock, and her dogs were a great hit with the kids!
